This was my grandmothers favorite song. My dad was the youngest of 8 kids. My grandfather was born in 1886 & my grandmother in 1889. My Dad was a good musician & would play this for his mother. I always think of him & them when I hear this. My dad grew up during the depression. He always liked the scene in "The Grapes Of Wrath" where Henry Fonda dances with his mother to The Tennessee Waltz. I think that scene always reminded him of his love for his mother. Great job Harve, tinkling the ivories, memories, and heartstrings.
I love this beautiful 🎵... You have my favourite you tube channel ❤️ and Facebook too ❤️ what a wonderful spirit you have Harve ... Thankyou for your music ❤
Tiny sang this song himself! That's who introduced it to me first and then I mentioned it to Mr. Mann a few days ago that I liked the song. Obviously he's listening! XD
Wonderful heartfelt singing. Lovely song.
What a great voice! Awesome rendition.

Magnifique tout simplement
In 1982, Harve received a letter from Tiny Tim addressed to My Favorite Singer Harve Mann. I'll bet he would have liked this.
