Lucky I was able to get out, and had he introduced himself and said something, I would've stayed in and let himm kill me, but not like this...

@@otorvalds Well, to be fair most ships dont use point defense. Simply since missiles arent used that often and you need the slots for more critical parts of your build, like shield boosters and the things you use to flashcool your ship. So there is rarely a slot left which one would fill with PDF

They're not, though. Not really. It's not that simple. PvP and predatory gameplay are baked into the structure of the game, and are a big part of why so many of the kickstarter backers got on board in the first place. Not everyone knows that at first, now, going in, but it's the truth. ED is 1/5 exploration, 1/5 mining, 1/5 trade and missions, 1/5 PvE combat...and 1/5 PvP free-for-all. We don't all like it. I don't like it, which is why I often play Solo. But it's part of the game. If you dislike it, your problem is with FDev, not specific players.
Being an a-hole in a game is still being an a-hole. The only time I got ganked was by a wing of four while flying an empty T7 trader. No piracy, no reason other than an easy prey. It was no loss for me, little salt to be had. The sadness and anger I felt was 100% over the fact that some douchebags ger their kicks from something that low. I bet their mothers didn't love them or something.

Condas aren't metas. I've blown so many of these with my FDL. They are pretty much useless against a CMDR who knows what they are doing. Granted, condas are beast in PvE tho.

Went to Galaxy map, typed in Yamazaki Landing found out that it was out by Sol. Jumped to the Duamta system which is about 10 light-years away or so and found Duamta 7 which has icy rings; whipped out my system scanner, scan them, and went to the void opals hotspot with my ASP Explorer. Every time I fill up, I jump back to the Yamazaki Landing and sell my cargo.

I felt like my IQ downgraded a few ranks after watching this. It's so simple...two minutes to just log out but he decided to sit and repair only to get his drives busted again. Very smart
Be warned, this took a HELL of a lot of credits and engineering. Thrusters are 7A Grade V Dirty, bulkheads are military grade. There's like 8 hull reinforcements, all engineered to Grade V heavy duty. This ship took like 40 rolls of Grade V heavy armor.

They're a powerplay reward weapon from Li Yong Rui. There's guides online on how to get them. It's tedious and takes a minimum of 3 weeks.
