Fair to say that I was not expecting this kind of landscapes in Sierra Leone. Thanks for taking us along . Nice to share the bright side of this country
Your present tour ride paused at Sierra Leone, Lea? Am curious because your ride episodes ended there so abruptly. If so, I hope that you can continue it to completion soonest.
@@andyvee1000 No, if you go to my channel you see all the next episodes, I publish a new one each thursday! The Africa journey had to paused in Benin, so quite a few videos more to come. :)
@@Got2Go Woooo ... that's a relief ! I sure will be anticipating your every upload. What about making ride vlogs around Germany or Europe while waiting for continuance of your paused Africa ride?
@@andyvee1000 already in the making too - when i am finished with the africa journey I will start uploading videos from my trip to North cape that I am on recently and as well some local videos. :)
Hi! "Welcome to Sierra Leone beaches".... Stunning views and some funny moments. Great comment. Keep going getting "precious" unknown places. Stay healthy and enjoy Sierra Leone. Cheers!
Loved this video can't wait to see the next part. Good to see you buying local produce. Loved the beautiful drone shots from above in contrast to the negative images out there. Can't wait for the next part, hope your keeping safe.
Am completely hooked on this what a great display of motorcycling & fearless resilience with sights into Africa that just make one want to take Off 😍😍😍
0:00 There are always negatives they sell us in media. Just to make you affraid, worry or to show you your new enemy. In fact we are the same everywhere. Normal people struggling with their ordinary life. Just environment and politics makes the difference and problems.
Peter Kleynjan everyone starts small! Happy about everyone who wants to come on the video-journey with me! 😍 Hope so too - westafrica might be very difficult though. Thinking about shipping the motorcycles back at the moment...😒
@@Got2Go There's so much content out there and on here, that it's sometimes just a matter of discovering the shining diamond that's partially hidden. I just discovered a few days ago and am loving each and every video. Thank you for sharing all you do.

I follow you from Jordan.. Greetings to you wherever you are... Lea Rieck i like you 😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍AKRAM JORDAN---FROM JORDAN
I can now cross Sierra Leone off my bucket list thanks to your video. Although I have no interest in motorcycles, I can certainly see the value and advantages it brings to traveling, and I certainly enjoy the adventures of discovery that travel brings, that you bring. Very nicely presented, and the drone shots, music, explanations of culture and people all make this a delicious adventure. I just subscribed, and look forward to having many more virtual travel experiences you bring forward.
This series is so interesting and the drone photography in this video was amazing with you on the beach and your shadow, whether that was planned or not it turned out great Any idea when you can resume the travel?
Brian Merillat unfortunately not - it looks very bad at the moment in westafrica - we are actually thinking about shipping the motorcycles back because we can’t leave them longer than November due to the custom documents. If we do that we might approach Africa from the other direction first and ride down the east coast...
Was a very beautiful country in the early 80,s when i was there, very poor but as friendly as obviously you found now. Seeing your reception you can imagine how it was for me then. Missed that beautiful Bureh Beach though! Another excellent video many thanks.
Oh, I am always so envious of people who already traveled in the 80s (unfortunately I was just born then...), would have loved to experience how traveling was back then! Unfotunately it's still a very poor country (indeed it's on one of the last ranks on the human development index...) - got as well horribly exploited with all the mining going on there and then the civial wars, ebola etc. - it never could recover before the next crisis hit. That's why I wanted to focus on this side of the country in this episode - I find it quite impressive that there is such a good touristic infrastructure on the freetown penninsula nevertheless - mainly local tourism btw., when we were at Bureh, we mainly met people from Freetown who took some time off the bustling city life.
@@Got2Go My God girl you have made me feel really old LOL! I was born in 1952 so am old actually but lucky to be here after some of my experiences travelling on bikes😊 .........it was a very different world then and before the Internet and Sat Nav. I enjoy your videos as you really show it the way it is rather than just the scenery, and if only your subscribers knew just how hard it really is on roads in some parts of the world even now as they struggle on really no comparison Enduros or Motocross! I rode the Paris Dakar route many years ago and found it nothing like as bad as portrayed, although admittedly I was not racing but was carrying a lot of weight on a heavy bike, and as you well know to have a breakdown or injury in the middle of nowhere, particularly in my time with no communication devices, could be fatal. Thanks again for great content.
Tolles Video!
Because we were on quite a tight schedule due to some visa issues and the broken clutch in Senegal that slowed us down immensely - and In guinea I preferred to go to the Fouta Djallon area because I love mountains. Would have loved to explore the beaches too. Next time!
yes..negative narratives by westerners. So make sure you tell or show that you are traveling within boarder roads..country roads, villages//and remote areas..not the large cities.../modern homes.. All of coast of west Africa is All of the Atlantic Ocean. So we have the best beaches,,, FRom the north/the west, and the south..and also in the east as in Liberia..The best lobster/ salmon and largest shrimps
The content is getting just worse. It is more just a podcast with the introduction and a few snapshots of the things you talk about. You definityely need a better camera! Your sound is always excellent, but the pictures are lacking.
Sierra Leonie! On my bucket list. beach! food! wow
