- “Watch your mouth.” Growing up, we've likely heard this phrase spoken by adults. But have we ever truly taken the advice?
Our words have the potential to build up or destroy, spark inspiration or act as fuel in a fight. In the talk “Watch Your Mouth,” from the “Make or Break” collection, Pastor DawnCheré Wilkerson challenges us to take responsibility for our words, to explore their meaning and understand how they affect our relationships.
In the Bible, we learn that the tongue is a megaphone for our heart’s desires. What we say reveals the state of our heart. So, to watch our mouth we must first watch our heart, paying attention to the influences we take in. And it’s not enough to say the “right” things because our tone can be as meaningful as the words we use.
The tongue is powerful and, though difficult to master, can make the difference between an enriched or endangered relationship. Because God calls us to speak life, we can invite his guidance. He will teach us to communicate with intention and speak words of healing and hope. Then we'll be able to tear down the structures that sought to divide our relationships.

I have been that passive aggressive. Then changed my ways and began. Be more assertive.
I disrespected many peers and family that won't speak to me because i didnt filter maturely.
I do apologize but won't be forgiven by them. I wouldn't forgive me either.
Im hurting because my wife jumped shipped and tricked me to relocate. My siblings dont like me one bit. I love them all but have issues saying it now.
I regret my words and will leave them be and leave my hometown asap.
My life is in danger by some of my peers from.... I accept that my heart is pissed and starting to chill. Lord Jesus Almighty i accept the cup of death.
Certain things are ruined because of how i have acted and others sabotage me because of my past conversation.
I repent and need your forgiving touch Jesus Christ. If my death date is soon or later do what is needed with my energy. Amen
It’s never to late to change your heart! You are unable to change tour last and your actions, but you can change your future. When you walk with God, you do not walk with death, you walk with eternal life. Cast your problems to God and he will take care of it all, do not accept the weapons formed against you, the Bible said no weapon formed against you shall prosper, meaning that they will form, life will get hard, situations will arise, but they will not get the best of you as long as you keep your eyes on God. Don’t allow anguish and hatred to enter your heart, if so, cast it to God and allow him to fill it with peace and love. God love you and I love you as well. I will keep you in my prayers and I know that it will get better if you allow God to come in and make some changes! ♥️
