As you've already mentioned in the comments, these are likely goat skin, not cow. Being thin, strong and stretchy makes goat leather particularly suitable for gloves. This is where we get the expression to treat something with 'kid gloves', a kid being a young goat.
I considered using my light motorcycle gloves for my simracing activities, for regular driving I don't see the point. Also, "Genuine leather" generally means the lowest grade of leather.
F4celessArt I believe these are actually goat leather, and I misspoke. They are definitely not the lowest grade of leather. Far superior to leather utility gloves and whatnot.
@Cooper what's cute? simracing with driving gloves? Or simracing in general? Most mid-tier and up wheels have motors that emulate road feel and the resistance you get through the wheel on IRL cars. Not saying I need gloves but when I already drive in VR, immersing myself as much as possible in the simulator, having gloves like the guy in the game helps.
This is a great video and so true. I actually have those M gloves even though I dont have BMW but I'm an avid Miata (I'm on my 4th one currently an ND) and GTI (just got a new Mk 7.5) enthusiast and I wear driving gloves everytime I'm in the car. Nike batting gloves are my driving glove of choice...they have all the properties mentioned in this video and they also fit my ath-lesiure clothing style. Thanks for making a video for those of us that understand how truly important a good pair of gloves are for some spirited driving in cars that beg to be driven.
They’re like a second skin. Actually, wearing a leather welding jacket outside in the California sun for about 15 on break wasn’t so bad either. Some days were considered hotter days of the year and we were all fine. Once you add a liner it starts to get hot and insulate air better.

Absolutely, I highly recommend them, tight
I always drive with driving gloves, rarely going without.

You and I are going to watch this video in 2084
Love driving gloves, they keep my leather steering wheel from becoming shinning.
Mine has scratches. I waited too long. However I have them now so no new scratches
Nice
Sweet gloves

@Cooper Racing simulators, essentially games made with realism in mind. Examples are Assetto Corsa and iRacing.
