I'm hoping for Mr Knight review, you can swap the heads around, maybe throw in Poe Dameron in the comparisons? MrK looks almost *BRIGHT WHITE* here, btw. Why are his ‘moonarangs’ so big? Aren’t they supposed to fit where his logo is? They’re supposed to be more discreet and closer to the size of his fist so he can grip the center of them and the sharp ends stick out on either side.
This figure looks great. I don’t think they could’ve done much better. They really went all out trying to make it accurate to what’s on screen. My only complaint is that they didn’t make the crescent blades the right size. I’ll probably try to make my own for it
It's a great start for a figure but it's really hurt by situations beyond Hasbro's control most likely. The mask is wrong but I think that's more on Disney/Marvel as the early promotional images show the head matches that one to one. Though this isn't the first time Marvel last minute changes means inaccurate figures. I think it should have an alt head at least given how many times we see the suit with an unmasked head. It could have even came with the other Steven. Accuracy vs Accessories I think doesn't fly with me anymore. Though with this Moon Knight, sans his flying cape, he's got all the accessories he needs from the show. It's the other folks in this wave that have deficiencies on both fronts(Ms Marvel). But credit where credit is due. That got a whole lot of sculpted detail in there. But it's also going need a lot of gray paint.
I'll probably get this guy only from the wave. I was super excited for the BAF when it was announced and I preordered the wave, but canceled when they showed the BAF at SDCC. It's unpainted marbled plastic and it's like 25% too short because they didn't make a new sculpt. It look so cheap, I'm not buying a full wave to get something that essentially looks Dollar Store quality. Just in case any Hasbro people actually read comments- you are losing TONS OF MONEY by constantly cheaping out. I doubt I am the only one who stopped buying entire waves because so many figures don't come with any accessories or are just lazy half-repaints. I have nearly every BAF ever released and about half of the Hasbro figures, but my spending on Hasbro figures will be down at least 75% going forward- which is solidified by the price increase coupled with QA issues and figure swapping with those crappy closed boxes. I'm happy to give my money to companies that actually paint their figures and include accessories. NECA in particular is crushing it of late. I'm definitely not paying $200 including tax and shipping for a wave that has 4 basic figures that offer nothing exciting and 3 figures I like with no accessories and zero emotional expression. These are not mannequins, they are ADULT COLLECTIBLES. Siryn with no screaming head was kind of the end for me- I saw it on 50% clearance at Target a couple days ago and just passed. I wouldn't even pay $5 for that figure, because then I'd have to own it, and who wants a screaming character with no screaming head? Do better Hasbro.
Great review. Outstanding figure, but of course Hasbro won't include an unmasked headsculpt because later they will re-release the figure with the unmasked headsculpt to make us buy it again.
Nearly canceled my pre-order on this one because I love the comic one I have with the soft goods cape. After your review I am glad I didn't. Now you've got me thinking...do I need a new light gray cape now?
When they first showed his renders I thought he looked pretty great but now there’s something off about the proportions to me. I have no idea what it is, it’s just off to me, I can’t explain it, it just looks weird.
The action figure has no visual pins showing on the points of articulation, look at the elbows and knees on your action figures you will see little pins on most action figures

Dude I agree. They should be smaller because it reminds me of any marvel legends stormbreaker, its too small and isnt screen accurate.

Think maybe drop down hips would have been a good thing for him so he gets more clearance from the moon cloth

I tried using a Black Series Poe Dameron head, it fits but it's loose inside and it sits too high on the neck.

Does Poe Dameron's head would work as an alternate head for both, MK and Mr. Knight?
SW and ML head joints aren't always compatible, so one would either need some stuffing or dremeling out to swap.
