Realistic Candy Cane Draw With Me Pre-Video

- This is a prequel to our very first draw with me. The drawing video will be up in one to two weeks. Take your own photos, use a real candy cane as a reference, screen shot, or download one on the photos I took free from my blog here

Here are the prismacolor premier pencils I plan to use. 1034, 922, 923, 1032, 924, 925, 937, 928, 1018, 1020, 1072, 1056, 1019, 1029, 1017, 1023, 1050, 938, 1095, 1078, 1033, 918, 914
and Luminance 001 (white)
I am using Strathmore Colored pencil paper, Mona Lisa Odorless Paint thinner, a fine tipped paint brush, a fat soft paint brush, tracing paper (for between my hand and drawing), and pencil sharpener
or find me on pixabay as HeatherNWells they will be there free as well.
I personally will be zooming in on them on my laptop as I work, as the printed photos tend to come out less vibrant. The set I have has 132 colors. Please check the color numbers on the blog linked if you want to use the same colors I do.

I just finished my candy cane. I have trimmed down 5 1/2 hours of film to 22 minutes…. At the moment I am having issues with connecting the microphone to the editing software. I hope to get it resolve and post the candy cane drawing Monday. Thank you so much for commenting. I hope to figure out live streaming too. I would love to try to live stream once a month

The brightness is pretty dark, even with my phones brightness on full. Just so u know 😁 glad to see u are back again!
Today is my day off I will try to get better photos, and upload them on the blog today :)
