Hate it. Hate the spikeys. Hate the brass bowties. Even kinda hate the tambour doors. But hey, if you are making something everybody likes, you are making something boring. An artist has to take risks. I “liked” the video (I hit thumbs-up) so there’s that.
same. hate the whole bottom. the black especially. I think in a light maybe slightly kitsch colour it might work better. I like the top though :D anyway got a like from me as well :D
I love the idea but the spikey part is not that great. I probably would like it more if the part wasn't so spikey. But hey! At least now I know what I don't like from this kind of interesting design 😁
I hate it, but I will talk out of both sides of my mouth here. While I don't like it personally, I LOVE the change and trying new things. I love watching you just experiment and try to see how far you can push yourself and your pieces. Just because a piece isn't appreciated by me, doesn't mean it's not appreciated by someone else. Keep going and thank you for sharing your experiences!
I love it. As woodworker who struggles being creative, I think it’s great that you can visualize something like this and go with it. I’ve found that learning skills to copy something or build something basic is so much easier than actually getting creative and artistic. Well done
I am a 50/50. The part I love, is your amazing creativity, and the brass bowties! The part that I do not like, is the spikes, it makes me feel uneasy. And I was thinking from the start... "who is going to dust/clean it?" (Often, I am sure) Yep, as a norwegian grandma, and loving the clean scandinavian look, which is way easier to clean, your design would give me hives. But my metal-music lover son would LOVE your work! 😂
It’s OK. I neither hate it nor love it, but I admire your tenacity in getting it finished and I really like the ‘out of left field’ approach to the design. Without people like you the world would be a boring place. Congrats!
It’s okay! I’m somewhere between love it and it’s okay. Something untraditional and new like this takes some getting used to. It is always great to see you take on new ideas to challenge your own skills but also to expand yourself as an artist. It’s tough to imagine it in my home, but because it is so different from any “style” we have established over the years. It is an eye catching piece, and definitely a conversational piece.
this thing is totally wild but I love it when things are totally wild. the best thing about the world is that there's always somebody out there going "why NOT make a table whose legs are thwomps? nobody can stop me!" i love the plastic you settled on for the doors and i love the shape of the spiky bits and i love how the paint on the support pipes matches the brass holding the top together and i love how it all comes together into this totally bizarre picture. i want more furniture out there that just makes people go "WTF is that?" when they walk into a room. good stuff! keep it up!
Love it. I would not want this for myself, but I like the way it´s designed. I don´t think there´s anything comparable out there yet. Probably no one ever built something like this.
I think I fall into the "It's okay" category. I do appreciate the effort and the unique artist design, I'm not sure it's something I could see in my home. It reminds me of something from a science fiction movie/story. I do love the combination of all the elements, metal, wood, 3D printing. Keep up the good work.
It's okay... I don't care for the design but love watching the process and experimentation. I recently got a Bambu Lab P1S and it is so much better than my old 3D printer. I love the idea of using a 3D printer for woodworking purposes.
use uv resin " same stuff for resin printers " to easily and quickly hide layer lines , or print parts in abs / asa and vapor smooth , been using 3d prints and wood for years " hobby level I'm not competition lol " love the build
LOVE IT, Love it. I like the design. That's a unique piece that I would have in my home. I love how you are thinking outside the box and using different materials to make something cool. A lot might not like it and a lot might. To Each Their Own. Keep creating and experimenting and making awesome art.
It's okay. Here's the thing Johnny, you be you, and I feel this design is one of those things that really says "You!" In so many ways. I too have a desire to combine wood and metal in furniture design, but likely more in the traditional sense. It wasn't until this video that the idea of also adding 3-D printing to the mix even came to mind. I like it, and I think it definitely has its place in the market. I don't yet have a 3-D printer, but will be in the market soon enough. Great build! Great Video! Keep on Making!!!
Reminds me a lot of the costumes Janet and Michael Jackson had in the music video for Scream. I can see why this wouldn't be everyone's cup of tea but me, my lifestyle, music taste and clothing have never been the default settings so for a somewhat domesticated GenX goth like me this would easily find a place in my eclectic décor. Love it!
It is neither something that I would have made nor would want in my house. Having said that, you pushed boundaries and developed new skills. Keep up the good work.
Love it. The old me, before I was a maker myself, would have hated it. However, now I can appreciate the time and dedication to doing what you love instead of what you think everyone else loves/likes. While I am a little more traditional, I think this is a great piece and am glad you shared it with us.
I don't love it, and I don't hate it, but I can appreciate the effert and artistic expression. It makes me want to get into 3d printing and woodworking.
I'm so excited to see all the interesting and creative new projects you're thinking of making. I absolutely LOVE this piece, I've never seen anything like it. Please let your imagination run wild!
love it. i love that you do random builds that your experiment with. theres never a boring video and it is your channel i'd hate to see it become a channel the "fans" force you to do boring builds they wanna see. i think most people would watch your videos because they truly dont know what cool idea you'll come up with next
I personally love how unique and original this build is. Would I want it in my home, probably not, but if I saw it at a furniture store or even someone else's home I would definitely be taking some pictures and showing everyone.
It's a look, and I know that some people will love it. However it's not my personal style. I do love the fact that you are branching out, being creative and trying new things. This is always important, and I love to see it. I can't wait to see what you do next.
While I can’t say I’m a big fan of the design I do appreciate the amount of time and effort you put into the design and development of the finished product. I do enjoy your work dedication! You never disappoint!
It’s okay. Who cares what people think? Do what makes you happy. We are here because we enjoy watching your creative process and seeing what uniqueness you come up with next.
I love it. The spikeys aren't my style but I love the innovation and decision to try something new. I especially love how the top turned out with the bowties even though I do normally prefer the wooden ones and tambour doors will always be a win for me every time.
Love it! It's definitely not my style, but if I saw it in a friend's house I'd spend a lot of time looking over it. Life's too short to sit at the same box as everyone else. You definitely made the right choice staying bare filament. The green looks better than the black would have.
Love it. And I'll be honest, its not even really the design that makes me love it. It's the incorporation of different techniques and designs into one piece. Not something I would put in my home, but definitely something that I would find super cool and appreciate.
It’s okay, you can also try playing with the setting on the 3d printer to hide the layers and making it easier to smooth them just with primer. Also the spots that come out from the mig welder can be just smacked out and it’ll look way cleaner. Continue making this kind of stuff and this 7 weeks will become just 1 with the practice, encourage technology!
Don't hate it and don't love it. I do love the creative thought that you put into your work and think outside the spikey box to try to achieve something no one else is doing. Not something I would of even thought to make, plus I think it would be hard to match up with any other aesthetics in the room. Great work and fun build. Thanks for sharing.
LOVE IT! The brass ties are gorgeous! The Walnut top is such a contrast to the 3D printed “spines!” I would absolutely add something like this to my office! Go Luigi!!!
Love it. I really love the concept of 3d printing being incorporated into furniture! I think it is a great way to express individuality. It’s also great to be able to combine each of your passions into creating unique pieces of art. It is a fantastic idea and I really do think more will love it than hate it. Looking forward to seeing more of this 😢inspirational work.
To be honest with you I love it because of all the different materials you used in it makes it really challenging to create something like that awesome 👍
Love it! I began the video in the “hate it” group. However, once I watched you build it and put it together, I seen the cool little details and intricacies involved. Thanks for sharing… I love love it! Very 1986!
It's creative and built well. Not something I would want in my house but I know of people who would love it. It doesn't matter if people love it or hate it, what matters is the skill it took to put together,
It's okay. As someone who has been playing with 3D printers for several years, I like the way you leaned into the different option additive manufacturing offers over the more standard subtractive manufacturing of woodworking. I will say; did you consider a "wood" filament? I would love to know how those react to traditional wood finishing techniques like staining. Also, it's weird to walk into the room with the 3D printer and it smells vaguely like overheated wood.
It’s okay… I’m not wild about it but it’s different and that’s okay! That’s the best part about your videos you make what you want to and don’t care what others think and that’s awesome!!!
I love it. Honestly the blend of materials and use of a new material works perfectly. Never thought of 3D printing to be used in furniture designing until now.
It's okay, but on the somewhere-in-the-middle scale, i think i'm 20% closer to love it than hate it! Oddly if it was all walnut i'd probably be in love. Maybe even just walnut tambours, that'd add that extra bit of cohesion.
Love it. Loved the brass bow ties. Didn't mind the spineys. Loved the tambour doors. However I particularly loved watching the process. It's why I keep coming back. Thanks, Jonny! You keep building? I'll keep watching.
When I first saw the thumbnail, I saw it as three separate plastic-covered storage units and I really liked them! I don't like the table as a piece because I find the materials to clash with one another - natural wood, gold metal, black plastic. Don't like them all together - reminds me of my aunt and uncle's Hollywood Regency interior design style in the 1960s. I like the individual storage cubes though.
Shapr3D is the BOMB!!! I use Solid Works, and AutoCAD at my work, but Shapr3D allows me to export into any format I need and create the part from my Mac, then my iPad and then my work PC seamlessly. Just stoked to see another Shapr3D user.
It's okay. I like the idea, I like the concept, I don't like the shapes chosen. But that comes down to personal preference. However, the idea of incorporating 3d printing into a build is fascinating and I can see many potential uses for it. Even if not in the final build, you've made it clear it can be a faithful tool for making the making an easier process.
It's ok. It's definitely a one off boutique type design that seems like it would be best fit in a black metal/death metal/Punk Rock type studio. Even putting it on full display as a DJ table for some kind of Heavy metal/Punk/Goth club would really make this one shine. I would also maybe change to gold parts to a more silver or polished gunmetal black.
LOVE IT! - I Fracking love the creativity. We should not limit ourselves. And there are always going to be decanting views on our art and our lives, but real enjoyment is when you love it... and run on sentences.
I love it, and I'm being 100% honest. The incorporation of 3D printing really adds significant visual interest that would have been time/labor/materials prohibitive using conventional methods. I give it two thumbs up and would enjoy having something that unique in my collection. The manner of which it is constructed would be a conversation I'd thoroughly enjoy having with anyone who asks about it!
Well, I can use all three expressions to describe my impression, - I LOVE that you don't hesitate to experiment new technics, - IT'S OK as a final product, since it serves its porous, - and I HATE it as piece of furniture without knowing its back-story, In all cases, your approach to woodworking is respectable, and one can always expect an exciting new idea next, Greetings from France, 👍
Love it. That fact that you are pushing the boundaries and trying new techniques is inspiring. Also the bambulabs A1 with the AMS is awesome. Have made some stuff for me and some toys for the kids.
I love it based on creativity alone. Not necessarily something I would want in my own home, but would 1000% think it is awesome in someone else's home!
It's okay. This is about a style that you like, if it's going to be in your house, so you do you. There are many things I love about it, and I do think it's cool that lot of things being merged together in terms of tech, style, talent, creativity. To be fair the only thing I really don't care for in the style are the "Spinies" I think they take away from the piece visually, and look like giant meat tenderizer mallets. Love the sliding doors, and that color. Love the brass bow tie for that wood-metal combination look. It was really fun to watch the video, one of your best. For an experiment it's a lot to learn from. Scott from Japan
I'm firmly in the "It's Okay!" camp. Still, not bad for a first go at the whole thing. A few things: when I saw the "spiky things" I immediately thought of Hershey's kisses and that is what I call them now. I would also suggest adjustable feet to allow it to level better. Still, I always enjoy watching these videos and seeing what you come up with.
I'm into the brass ties, and theh hidden bowtie details. I love the interplay of different textures and materials. As a pirce of art and a creative exercise, it's amazing. As a furniture piece to live with, I wouldn't. Firstly, I would stab myself on it at least a dozen times a day, and secondly, who gets to clean it?
Love it!Nice and different pice of furniture. I like the creativity that you can do with 3D printing, I have one myself and I love the fact that you can prototype in a fast and easy way!
Love it! Impossible not to look at and feel something. Modern? Crazy? Industrial? Gothic? Galactic? Totally new. No more river tables! Want to see people who dare to break with everything. Maybe not for my house, but, great crazy job!
As I am currently designing and printing an armchair with 3D printing, I know what you are talking about. It will take approximately 25 days to print, and so I am thinking about upgrading my 3D printer to a newer and faster model. It's ok.
I'm part of the "love it" gang. It's got a grunge, punky vibe that I've never seen anywhere else in furniture. I love statement pieces, and this is DEFINITELY a statement piece. Would look so cool as a desk in a gaming room if you had an L-shaped continuation of the slab on top, and added some of those metal bars as legs on the end of the L-shaped part . You could fit a desktop inside those compartments. Also, the spinies sort of remind me of acoustic panels. Pretty cool.
Love it! Not my style, not something I would have in my house, but it is unique and wood is beautiful. I have never seen 3D printer being used this way, keep it up with new and unique ideas!
I am a woman from Germany. I really do Like every Thing that you are creating. You are a Wood worker ...and when someone hates what your are creating, feel free to leave and watch Something else😂😂 so easy😂😂good Bless you
It's okay. I can definitely see the creative aspects of it but it is definitely something I wouldn't want to own in my own home. But it's very cool to look at and loved seeing your passion in building it. Keep doing what you're doing johnny!
Love it. I think the design is pretty cool, and I love the intersection of 3D printing with woodworking. I will agree that the final piece didn't look as premium as you might've wanted, and that could come down to your filament choices. I think I'd rather see you print in the color you want, rather than spray painting it.
Love it!! I love the original look and vibe of it. I wouldn't have it in my house simply because it wouldn't fit our vibe at all but I truly love the original look
I don't hate the base, and I don't hate the top, but I do feel that they kinda clash. The bottom would look great with like a 1 inch thick smoke tinted laminated glass rectangle. And the top would go great with an all brass high class steam punk Eiffel Tower looking bottom. Cool build none the less with very many techniques integrated 👏👏
It's ok Table top, rocking. Slider doors, love it. The lower cabinets are ok, not a fan of the spines but there will be someone out there that would love that. I do like the idea of the storage areas, and I do like your method to connect them all. Overall conception, 7 out of 10.
I like the top though :D
anyway got a like from me as well :D
That’s a lot of hate.
I think context is everything on a piece like this.
Amazing. I love it
I love the idea but the spikey part is not that great. I probably would like it more if the part wasn't so spikey. But hey! At least now I know what I don't like from this kind of interesting design 😁
I feel the same, but it's a really cool idea and I love the thought process and ideas.
It's okay... And what elevated it from "hate it," to "it's okay" was your passion for and dedication to this concept.
I love it. As woodworker who struggles being creative, I think it’s great that you can visualize something like this and go with it. I’ve found that learning skills to copy something or build something basic is so much easier than actually getting creative and artistic. Well done
It's better than okay, but I don't love it.. would be cool, if you had made the spikes into dragon scales.
I am a 50/50. The part I love, is your amazing creativity, and the brass bowties! The part that I do not like, is the spikes, it makes me feel uneasy. And I was thinking from the start... "who is going to dust/clean it?" (Often, I am sure)
Yep, as a norwegian grandma, and loving the clean scandinavian look, which is way easier to clean, your design would give me hives. But my metal-music lover son would LOVE your work! 😂
Loved your comment on how to clean it 😁 I would be more worried about falling and hitting any bodily part on those spikes specially kids and pets
@helgavoorneveld1530 😂 Forgot that, just thinking... dust! 🤣
It’s OK. I neither hate it nor love it, but I admire your tenacity in getting it finished and I really like the ‘out of left field’ approach to the design. Without people like you the world would be a boring place. Congrats!

I Love it!! You have me pricing 3D printers...I'm 60years old and ready to learn lol THANK YOU for your vids.

This piece would look at home in any hair salon.
Nailed it. Lol
Love it! It's very modern, kinda gothic, a bit industrial, very in your face. I'd rock that in my home!
Chemically, Gorilla Glue is the same as traditional expanding foam, they are both polyurethane
Love it. The old me, before I was a maker myself, would have hated it. However, now I can appreciate the time and dedication to doing what you love instead of what you think everyone else loves/likes. While I am a little more traditional, I think this is a great piece and am glad you shared it with us.
Love it ! You never know what kind of wild build you are gonna tackle and you haven't disappointed me yet. Good job man.
I don't love it, and I don't hate it, but I can appreciate the effert and artistic expression. It makes me want to get into 3d printing and woodworking.

So this explains why you took it down Sunday
The audio was track was messed up unfortunately.
While I can’t say I’m a big fan of the design I do appreciate the amount of time and effort you put into the design and development of the finished product. I do enjoy your work dedication! You never disappoint!

LOVE IT!!! Nice to see you taking multiple mediums to create something so beautiful.
Love it! You put a lot of time into it and shared your knowledge and experience. AND it’s unique, would fit in well at any funky store or event space.
Love it. And I'll be honest, its not even really the design that makes me love it. It's the incorporation of different techniques and designs into one piece. Not something I would put in my home, but definitely something that I would find super cool and appreciate.

Love it. It's a unique concept piece. And with the 4 cabinets you can put each console in them. Just need holes for the wires.
Go Luigi!!!
Absolutely Love it! I love the modern asthetic and the use of future and past technologies together. Totally RAD
Love it. I really love the concept of 3d printing being incorporated into furniture! I think it is a great way to express individuality. It’s also great to be able to combine each of your passions into creating unique pieces of art. It is a fantastic idea and I really do think more will love it than hate it. LOVE IT, love to see 3d printing being supported in a unique way.
To be honest with you I love it because of all the different materials you used in it makes it really challenging to create something like that awesome 👍

It's creative and built well. Not something I would want in my house but I know of people who would love it. It doesn't matter if people love it or hate it, what matters is the skill it took to put together,
Love it for the fact that you took a chance! If you are not eliciting hate then you're it pushing your boundaries and skills💫🤙
I love it. It's different, A one of a kind , your creation. Don't be afraid to think outside of the box.
Love it. It’s a great way to mix 3d printing and woodworking. I’m super excited to see what you come up with next.
Love it. I didn’t think I was going to like it but at the end it really came together. The different colors and the walnut work well together.
So cool! What makes it for me is the execution. Vision to reality is sometimes difficult and you nailed your vision.

Love it! I actually love it. Its so wild and abstract it becomes the main attraction of a room.
Love it! It's great seeing different methods incorporated into projects like these.
I love it Jonny! It is very unique. I like how you always stretch your artistic approach to furniture building. Keep killing it brother!
Hate it but always enjoy seeing someone explore their creativity. I especially liked all the different approaches… woodworking 3D print weld etc.
It's ok.

I would also maybe change to gold parts to a more silver or polished gunmetal black.
Love it! Love the look, love that you pushed boundaries and I look forward to seeing you incorporate 3d printing more.
It’s okay. Not a fan of the spiny shapes, but do agree the combination of materials is intriguing. And love that green iridescent color!
Do vinyls fit behind those tambour doors and if so what's your rough estimate how many albums it could hold?
Love it! The brass inlays and accents are especially beautiful!
It’s okay, love the idea of the 3D printer being used and its potential is enormous!!
Well, I can use all three expressions to describe my impression,
- I LOVE that you don't hesitate to experiment new technics,
- IT'S OK as a final product, since it serves its porous,
- and I HATE it as piece of furniture without knowing its back-story,
In all cases, your approach to woodworking is respectable, and one can always expect an exciting new idea next,
Greetings from France,
👍
Love it. So much learning and fun in one piece. Start of a journey
Love it! As others have said, I probably wouldn't want it in my own home, but definitely in the office or something. Awesome design and video
Love it. It’s a very unique piece of furniture and in the right setting it would look bad ass
I love it. It's so different and unique, and brass and black is the best combination in my opinion
Love it! This is the sort of stuff I’d love to design and build on my channel one day😊
Thanks for being such an inspirational human 🙏
It's Ok... because as the project went along it kinda grew on me and I kinda like it. I am not going to say I love it, but it quite cool!
Love it! Not my style, not something I would have in my house, but it is unique and wood is beautiful. I have never seen 3D printer being used this way, keep it up with new and unique ideas!
I am a woman from Germany. I really do Like every Thing that you are creating. You are a Wood worker ...and when someone hates what your are creating, feel free to leave and watch Something else😂😂 so easy😂😂good Bless you
Love it! Because you are expanding your craft and the industry.
It's okay. I can definitely see the creative aspects of it but it is definitely something I wouldn't want to own in my own home. But it's very cool to look at and loved seeing your passion in building it. Keep doing what you're doing johnny!
I really enjoy watching you work... I gotta say... 'LOVE IT.'
It's ok, the thing I like about it is it is very unique with the 3d printed parts, that is very cool.
Love it, and I approve! I also use 3D printing to enhance my wood/metal/plastic working of things.
It’s okay. Keep learning! Fun to watch new ideas!
Honestly, I love it. It's not my style at all but it's so unique and original and that's why I love it. That and your passion for it is contagious.
It's ok
Table top, rocking.
Slider doors, love it.
The lower cabinets are ok, not a fan of the spines but there will be someone out there that would love that.
I do like the idea of the storage areas, and I do like your method to connect them all.
Overall conception, 7 out of 10.
