If you havent done anything wrong just stay strong. Being overly nervous will make them doubt you more, and ruin your experience too. I've been stopped multiple times because I carry a few uncommon tech items, but its always smoother when I answer confidently and in a friendly manner.

I got stopped both ways going into Canada. Not sure why, but it was an easy process, at least on the American side because I knew the son of the immigration officer lol. Perks of living near the border. :D Most of these officers are really nice and they know that its nerve wracking.

I love and appreciate these shows. I learned a lot. US immigration and customs officers are no nonesense officers and take their job seriously.
That was sweet of the US immigration officer making the Filipino family first step in America memorable. He knows the sacrifice families make to get a chance to that American dream.
My sister in law came in with her children after getting hired to work as a nurse in NY. I had to tell her not to get nervous during interview at JFK because her papers are legitimate. When the Immigration officer checked her salary contract ,she was told that her salary is low and must demand for higher salary. That was nice as well.

(This is based on what was in the video, not what may or may not have been said off camera)
You would think if you detained a Vet from your own military based on mistaken identity (especially while you KNEW that you were being filmed) that you would at least make a quick apology.
Yes they were just doing their job while they were investigating, but they could at least be polite once they found out they had the wrong person!

Actually, it was PRICELESS when my foreign born ex-husband was profiled by TIA when he was traveling to Texas from Arizona in 2007 to visit his sister that seen in years. He hadn’t left the state since 1982 and was clueless. I was there, explained everything, and he was free to go. Since then he has traveled extensively between Europe, the Middle East, and South America. One of the most honest people you’ll ever meet, knows the rules and laws, and says US Immigration is great!

I always watch these shows because it gives me an idea of what to expect when I go to New Orleans for the Mardi Gras. I watched an episode on ordinary tv and they had a segment about an elderly Texan couple who on a whim decided to go to Canada. The elderly husband admitted that he had a pistol in his vehicle when asked and right away Border Security officer put him under arrest for smuggling a gun. Well, for 1. it isn't smuggling if he admitted he has it, snd 2. they should have asked him if he has a bad heart or suffers from from anxiety attacks because they don't want him to have a heart attack or have an anxiety attack when they put him under arrest. They could be a little humane. Not every body that goes into another country is deliberately breaking their laws.
He told them he has a permit to carry. Okay then where are the signs that say that you have to declare your guns/ammo. even if you have a permit. They should have signs plastered on the windows snd be readable before you go through the doors, and have signs right on the posts before you go through the gates to get through.
How these officers treat the travellers goes a long way. If she had said to him, "The laws in Canada are totally different from the laws in America. Once you go through the border, you are now in a different country and the permit to carry a gun isn't worth the paper it's written on. You'll have to a bide by our laws now and you can't carry a gun into our country. They should have given him the benefit of doubt that he didn't know and let him off with no fine.
I don't know if the couple have plans of ever going back again, but I'm pretty sure that incident put a damper on wanting to go back.
So please, border security everywhere, plaster signs all over the place about gun laws (and that having a permit to carry doesn't mean a thing). Place the signs so that everyone can read them. Maybe people might want to go back for another holiday.
    Love your videos,
    Stephscheve

No. I’ve crossed into Canada by land/sea and one of the questions asked at primary screening is if one has any weapons. He lied to an officer, which is a crime by itself. Canada doesn’t recognize Texas gun permits, and he had a loaded, concealed gun. His permit wasn’t even valid in Washington state, so he broke the law there and likely several other states.

However, the US Border Security officials take people to dirty storage-like "cell ", gang -up on the person to ask random questions (in a disrespectful way).

@ don’t you think it’s a little bit weird how compliant and agreeable they are this time compared to what happened in 2016? They didn’t steal it like 2020 because they have a Plan B. They will not go quietly into the night. I assure you that. There is one way that they would be able to stay in office, and I think we are definitely going to see this happen. If war was declared on American soil, they would be able to enact some special thing that allows them to stop the election process and transfer of power. They are like a snake in the grass getting ready to strike. We just don’t know when where or how yet but there are people predicting it will be bigger than the twin towers

Threy are only showing the ones who have issues. I'm sure the producers go through hours of video to find the ones that have problems. It would be boring to watch if nobody was stopped and questioned.

These are just distractors, the real staff comes in tons into the US, someone's luggage caries nothing. The Real amount passes through private jets, and tunnels, yes tunnels, there are hundreds between Mexico and US bordes, they even go beneath the customs offices. It's a business with billions of dollars involved. The question is, where and Who is the US capo? el chapo, controlled Mexico's side, who's the boss for distribution in the USA side, or by magic, it ends up on the streets? They have played us for a fool, for years, distracting us with this little games. Have you ever wonder who manages the drugs distributions all over the USA? it cant be who ever wants because there'll be crime increase involved, so someones puts order to the distribution. Who could be with enough power to even keep his name undercover ?
Keeping us ignorant is the best weapon for illegal business to run.

Turkish citizens can't enter into EU, Schengen, Switzerland because of wage discrepancies widen very much compared among themselves. Turkish workers earn on average 700 usd compared to Schengen workers monthly average of 2500 euros. Embassies , Consulates visa sections tell to turkish public that how much net profit can I make as country from your very low expenditures in my country? That is why I deny immediately if your net monthly wage is 700 usd they proclaim one by one. Negative visa response rate of Turkiye citizens is 20 percent although you know all kinds of languages and have travelled to 35 countries or more until you come by 50 years of age and 5 years overseas living experiences.
