ImperiumXV He was the perfect inmate/“pod boss” and he was pointing out the wrong that the COs were doing. The only reason why he was caught cuz one of the COs snitched and he was let out the hole in only a few hours when people should stay there for a few days at least.

In fairness to all participants, going to jail where physical size and strength is POWER out of the gates, Tony had a 6’3” 250lb advantage over the other participants. Add that to his knowledge of how jails work and street smart…he’s bound to excel.
Nate was good too but I think he had way more PTSD and trauma from the military and his extended time on the show than he led on based on what happened to him after the show. I liked him but there was something wrong with him off the bat.

Especially considering it's part of basic English, not exactly advanced English. I find it difficult to take people's arguments seriously when they make such basic mistakes. It invokes the idea this person does not read or write a lot and, and as you said, that this person is not very educated. We have a similar error in my mother tongue. Not exactly about confusing verbs with pronouns but still a very common error. It is customary to grade a student's test 0/10 should they make this error just once. Even if the test isn't about the language.
