    Hey, as an ABA trained psychologist. This is NOT a good example of ABA, and runs a high risk of creating more extreme attention seeking behaviours.

    Do you have any suggestions for a seven year old autistic child that does attention seeking by squealing loudly. He uses limited speech, but can speak in two to three word sentences selectively.

    My sister in law is attention seeking like if we go eat she will eat and after she just immediately goes into I don’t feel good my head hurts my back hurts my ear is hurting.. man maybe I should go

    It's called the Grey Rock Method for adults. Sometimes they need to be ignored too lol!

    Bs . That is giving them a excuse in future to act like that in public as growing up. You are the typical parent that wants to be your child's buddy and not a parent.
