Wall paper with black and white strips will be great for your bathroom and will hold everything together. You can get a black wooden lid for the toilet... And black handles for the cabinets as well as the faucet. Than the frame of the mirror can be gold.
i have to admit i like the LA-Sanne the most. The Netherlands are nice for a visit an Japan, too, but LA seems so cool and free and i feel like you are living your most independent life there. Why not settle in LA or in the suburbs of LA? No matter how you decide in the longterm, you two will find the way thats best for you🌷
Personally the mix of gold and silver in the bathroom. I would keep all the fixtures silver and cover up the green paint with funky wallpaper - there are so many cool options on Wayfair.
I like the green in the bathroom, it is a nice tone. You could get a large art print above the toilet and that way you get some print in to add texture too as you mentioned wanting wallpaper 😊

for the bathroom situation you have, i would recommend to put on wallpaper thats floral or something, it should have some white in it to match the shower and furniture, but i think the green is already a nice colour but it still looks kinda empty with it so yeah, wallpaper would look really nice! hope this helps x
On the bathroom: definitely go gold with the hardware and put a big plant or something between the counter and the toilet in that blank space. With the hardware in the shower, no you can’t change it BUT you can add lighting around or above the shower that’s a bit of a darker yellow/glow, which will reflect off the silver and make it look gold 😊 I hope it works for you!!
Bathroom decor suggestion: Textured wallpaper with chrome detail and the faucet and cabinet features might have a unique design that ties the look together. I hope that helps.

I like the green wall in the lower bthrm w your ideas to change all the fixtures to gold! If you left the glass shower wall w the silver anchors it probably wouldn’t be that noticeable and you could maybe hide it a shower rod w curtain. Oh, and I tried the chicken spring rolls with the almond butter sauce! It was SO delicious!!!! And the almond butter sauce was *perfect* because I have a peanut allergy so I never was able to enjoy the peanut sauce with them and I'm seriously feeling seen right now with this delicious sauce lol thank you!! 💖
SO GOOD!!! I sometimes prefer almond butter of peanut butter because the taste is more neutral and you can add some great seasoning. Will be making on repeat!

The challenge with your guest bath is the white shower area! How about a dimmer switch for your lights? Then, a small counter lamp for the atmosphere and some wall pictures with silver and gold frames contrasting off the green background?
The green wall in your bathroom could be pretty. What is throwing it off is the stark white walls next to the green. I think if you painted them a light goldish color, it would work. It would complement the green and you would get the gold you were wanting from your hardware. Also, since you can't change the fixtures, you may be able to brush them.
The green is beautiful, but it's too big of a contrast with the white from the cabinets, toilet... I would personally change the white for other colours that complement green or even look into other neutrals besides white to really soften the space. Shelvings, plants, and accessories will all help with making the green to feel more in tune with the room :) Love your videos as always. Your content is uplifting and inspiring :)
Overthinking can be hard to stop. It has taken my almost 33 years to “conquer” it although I still overthink. I like thinking about the things that are fun to overthink like new jokes and a civil war comedy script I’m writing about my homestate. But some of my overthinking is worrying as well so I’ve learned to replace the overthinking with thinking about what I want to happen a.k.a. positive outcomes. I’ve noticed having positive thoughts about stuff does take the stress level down of overthinking. A lot of stuff I worry about I noticed it doesn’t actually happen or come true. But it really depends on what you’re overthinking because some of it’s good to overthink. I think there’s fun overthinking about subjects you like and enjoy and then there’s the worrying overthinking. If it’s really bad, I will jot down things I’m worried about right before bed so that at least I can sleep. I just list them out as bullet points. Once it’s out of my head on a scratch piece of paper or in my iPhone notes, it becomes a little bit better stress wise. I think it’s a way to acknowledge what’s happening in your mind and the mind feels seen kind of like acknowledging a friend/family/random person in public that you see them and I’m not ignoring. I think it’s just the mind wanting attention in some way and jotting it down might help.
I’m building a capsule wardrobe with my stylist too! How funny. I think I’m gonna do some neutrals. Maybe two or three neutrals and then something obscure like a baby blue or pastel aqua. Maybe even one that’s like more stripes or polka dots. I also found out. I am slightly short torso and long legs so that has really helped with styling. I didn’t know that that was important but after seeing photos I was tagged in on stage, I was like “something is weird here about my proportions ever since I started dressing in more high waisted jeans and it never really was an issue before; let me find out about it.”
I love that color green but I feel like it is too dark for the space. Maybe try adding a white or gold sponge effect to the wall to add texture instead of it being flat. You can add maybe an over the toilet cabinet as well. Maybe if you add a beveled glass or frost the glass you won't notice the silver so much.
I really really loved this chatty vlog :) And I can relate so so much with all the thoughts in the head.. What really really helps me is to journal. Journal it alll out. I normally do it in my physical one but recently I switched to just type it onto my computer because it's faster. I can say it really really helps. :D And btw I have the same electrolyte powder that you showed :) I think it was the spicy mango, wasn't it? :) So yum!
I am a designer -- I think your idea of a green bathroom is great but it should be a brighter/lighter shade. I would look at desert plants like Palo Verde, yucca and agave for color inspiration.

there’s always a tiny spider in my car lately in LA. Sometimes I’ll be driving and it will swing down the middle of the steering wheel away from my hands like it’s showing off. Then I try to move it with a napkin or something and then it’ll crawl to the center and try to swing down again like it’s having a joyride.
I personally don't like the dark green color in the bathroom, I prefer lighter to give a happy ambience. Your bathroom is nice, however you may wanna redesign a bit your mirror, sink and bathroom cabinet, kinda so simple. Thank you Sanne for your helpful videos about health and good foods. In the video your bathroom wall looks olive green, so maybe would look better with tan or off white cabinet/shower, not so much with the white. Or else change the color to a dark forest green, may look nicer with white.

In the video your bathroom wall looks olive green, so maybe would look better with tan or off white cabinet/shower, not so much with the white. Or else change the color to a dark forest green, may look nicer with white.
