This is the truth! I have AHSEE, Y Le Parfum, Ocean EDT, TMW EDP. Just got Casual Chic. 19 degree on the way! After testing 100s of decants you can always tell first sniff when it’s going to be great to wear and great for compliments. In my collection these with Percival are my most complimented.

Wanted by Night is incredible. The Cinnamon, fruit notes, and Cumin don’t sound like a winning combo on paper but they come together so nicely in the scent profile. And the performance is great, nearly beast mode! Dare I say a 10/10?!

A friend of mine is in her paramedic program, and her preceptor, who loves fragrances, goes by the nickname "Orange." She's not into overly sweet scents. Can you suggest a fragrance that might be new to her? But one that's still affordable because my friend doesn't want to break the bank. Maybe $30-$40? She's quite the fragrance enthusiast, so I'm aiming for something unique and cool that she hasn't tried yet. Any ideas? In the past you recommended to me Clementine California by atelier, Pacific Rock Moss, and Eau de Mervielles by Hermes (Citrus based female scents).

I don’t know why - I have worn CAHSEE for my signature scent, and would say I’m around people. But not one compliment. Even oversprayed. I did get a compliment on Y Le Parfum though 😏. I’ll say though, I am preserving my 2016 bottle. Best sillage in first 10 minutes of any fragrance I owned

@@jts4248Perseus, really? To me, it smells Like a rather cheap laundry detergent. Sorry, but PDM has some great fragrances. Perseus ist not one of them in my opinion. The OG Allure Homme by Chanel is awesome though. One of the best summer fragrances for me.
@m.k.6143 Perseus so dam good. I don't get that at all. It is so good I love the opening all the way through but that drydown is so clean and good. Lot of people just smell and walk off. You can't do that in my eyes you have to spend some time with a fragrance to know what it is about
That alure sport extreme smells very good especially in the drydown. nice soft sandalwood but the whole composition is synthetic smelling IMO. There is also an allure sport cologne which is a beautiful natural smelling citrous scent. have you tried that one?
@@awolf913 not flawless. I definitely have issues. But I use: Super Saturated after I wash my face Then I put in eye cream. I rotate between a couple Then I use the stratia skin care egg for my moisturizer (it’s two moisturizers combined) At night I use Trentinoin .1%. It’s prescription retinol, and it is what does the most. But it’s hard on skin, so I only do it 3-4 days a week.

Own 28 frags and out of all of them as much as I hate to say; AHSEE and BDC EDP. I like them but not as much as my other fragrances. BDC is a love and hate relationship for me because it lasts only 2 hours on my skin.

It’s crazy, of the 200+ frags I have, the most complimented are not what most would think. For me, top 3 are Missoni Wave, Armaf Odyssey Aqua and Valentino Born in Roma edt. Personally, these are not my bangers, but they just so happen to be the ones people have actually spoken up about. The Most Wanted has gotten me comments, as has Cedrat Boise and Ultra Male, but neither Bleu de Chanel or Sauvage have ever made anyone speak up. Oh, Eros is still a banger as well. Go figure.
@@SoCalScents Oh, 100% agreed! Even Acqua Essenziale Blu and Dylan Blue do better for compliments than BDC and Dior Sauvage for me. Honestly that Armaf Odyssey line has a few that are awesome. Odyssey white is quite ‘Stronger With You’ inspired and also does well. There are certainly some banger cheapies out there these days!

@@shivansh1504 I’ve never heard of the first one. It’s not about projection to get you the most compliments. Sillage is what you want. Projection usually leads you to being the “Cologne guy” in a bad way. Sauvage Elixir is stronger than Hawas but they are two totally different kinds of scents. Sauvage elixir is a fall winter cold weather resinous scent. Hawas can be used all year round as a freshie. So if really depends on what type of scent you prefer. I wear my fragrances based on smell and what occasion I’m wearing them for.

@@shivansh1504 definitely test these out. I don’t test fragrances for longevity as that is not important to me. But 19 degrees is solid versatile signature scent.
@@SoCalScents I haven't tried it on my skin but my local Nordstrom let me smell it even though they said they couldn't sell it yet. It smells very similar to the original to my nose. I had already sprayed something on my wrists so I only sprayed it on a card.

@@jts4248Perseus, really? To me, it smells Like a rather cheap laundry detergent. Sorry, but PDM has some great fragrances. Perseus ist not one of them in my opinion. The OG Allure Homme by Chanel is awesome though. One of the best summer fragrances for me.
@m.k.6143 Perseus so dam good. I don't get that at all. It is so good I love the opening all the way through but that drydown is so clean and good. Lot of people just smell and walk off. You can't do that in my eyes you have to spend some time with a fragrance to know what it is about

That alure sport extreme smells very good especially in the drydown. nice soft sandalwood but the whole composition is synthetic smelling IMO. There is also an allure sport cologne which is a beautiful natural smelling citrous scent. have you tried that one?

@@awolf913 not flawless. I definitely have issues. But I use:
Super Saturated after I wash my face
Then I put in eye cream. I rotate between a couple
Then I use the stratia skin care egg for my moisturizer (it’s two moisturizers combined)
At night I use Trentinoin .1%. It’s prescription retinol, and it is what does the most. But it’s hard on skin, so I only do it 3-4 days a week.

@@whoiswho22 I wear it the most when I’m on vacation visiting parents and I’m pretty much just around them. So it doesn’t crack my top 10. But great scent. I like to wear it in the winter the most.

It’s crazy, of the 200+ frags I have, the most complimented are not what most would think. For me, top 3 are Missoni Wave, Armaf Odyssey Aqua and Valentino Born in Roma edt. Personally, these are not my bangers, but they just so happen to be the ones people have actually spoken up about. The Most Wanted has gotten me comments, as has Cedrat Boise and Ultra Male, but neither Bleu de Chanel or Sauvage have ever made anyone speak up. Oh, Eros is still a banger as well. Go figure.

@@SoCalScents Oh, 100% agreed! Even Acqua Essenziale Blu and Dylan Blue do better for compliments than BDC and Dior Sauvage for me. Honestly that Armaf Odyssey line has a few that are awesome. Odyssey white is quite ‘Stronger With You’ inspired and also does well. There are certainly some banger cheapies out there these days!

@@shivansh1504 I’ve never heard of the first one. It’s not about projection to get you the most compliments. Sillage is what you want. Projection usually leads you to being the “Cologne guy” in a bad way.
Sauvage Elixir is stronger than Hawas but they are two totally different kinds of scents. Sauvage elixir is a fall winter cold weather resinous scent. Hawas can be used all year round as a freshie. So if really depends on what type of scent you prefer. I wear my fragrances based on smell and what occasion I’m wearing them for.

@@shivansh1504 I mentioned it already. It’s not projection that you want. Its sillage. Sillage is what gets you the most compliments not sillage. Watch the Hawas video I shared, that’s a good one. Strong fragrances aren’t always the best fragrances for compliments.

@@SoCalScents I haven't tried it on my skin but my local Nordstrom let me smell it even though they said they couldn't sell it yet. It smells very similar to the original to my nose. I had already sprayed something on my wrists so I only sprayed it on a card.
