For those who find themselves here after watching No Time to Die, what set me up for an eventual cry at the climax of the movie was John Barry's beautiful melody from the original James Bond film. Let's recognize Barry a veritable genius who composed so many haunting romantic pieces. Fitting for Craig's last go, the greatest Bond, no doubt.
Matera the town, the music, and those words “we have all the time in the world” holds a special significance to me. In Matera I started understanding love and but it also made me realize that there is never enough time in this world. Matera is where a part of me forever live and die.
I totally understand where you're coming from Ray.. you see, my father was born there, my mother's family was born there and helped govern the town, and my entire family still lives there...❤ in fact, it's time to return.🥰

Played this last week on the drive into Matera, Southern Italy. OMG it fitted the place and ambience so well. Such a beautiful song, and such an amazing city. Perfect, just perfect. Thank you Mr Zimmer.

just an fyi, when Barry composed the love theme for OHMSS he had envisioned Connery in the role, he read the script but Lazenby was not yet hired. Imagine Connery in that film, would have been hands down the greatest 007 ever.
Real but real beauty and love even Danniel is trying realy hard to hide his feelings to lea so not offered his wife but lea realy has realy grabbed him with real love she looks so happy ❤. Pictures don't lie there is real chemistry and laws of attraction between them. Isent that beautifull.
I will be criticized for this, but in general, I am not a fan of Hans Zimmer's soundtrack. Most are so, well, amorphous. However, at times he is very good at adapting himself to a certain sound or style, and in this selection, he captures the sweeping, romantic sound of John Barry. He even borrows a slightly disguised motif from "We Have All the Time in the World" from 1968 film, ON HER MAJESTY'S SECRET SERVICE. That is a fitting homage to the first time it seemed that Bond tried to make a lasting commitment to a woman. Fortunately, NO TIME TO DIE had an experienced Daniel Craig and a much better script to create some convincing pathos. Thanks for posting.
Far from it: the input by Hans Zimmer is nothing short of fantastic and it pays homage to the main character as a whole, just when all of us (the audience) believe Bond - who is not on active duty - has found lasting happiness with Swann, two major enemies (Ernst Stavro Blofeld and Lyutsifer Safin) reverse that. Of course, 007 defeated Safin and kills Blofeld (unwittingly) sadly this came at the cost of Commander Bond's life when Safin's HQ was destroyed in a strike - completely obliterating it - 007's legacy in making sure the former SPECTRE assassin's plot never succeeded.
