Later, she was introduced to Mama Julia Lucy who recorded her first album Iria ria Bethsaida and Nyambatite Kirima. She narrates that in those days it was easy to record an album on your own because it was an expensive affair.
She stopped singing after she got married for about 6 years where she was blessed with three amazing children; two girls and boy, later on the second born died mysteriously after being married.
She has great history as a Kikuyu gospel musician. She has about 43 years in musical experience and over 40 albums to her name. Ndi Muthigari is one of her songs and many other songs that she mentioned. She also did a song with Jimmy Wayuni (Wayuni uhenagia).
