Folks, the debate is over. This is, without a doubt, the best possible way to introduce someone to Homestuck. This captures the very essence of Homestuck- a once-familiar game is taken to ever-greater levels of complexity, the stakes rising each time, until not even the humble peasant can afford to stand idly by.

The fourth prototyping is the tentacle-y things shown when John is exploring The Battlefield as God Tier. You can tell it's different than shown here because there are two different models of it in Doc Scratch's apartment.
So... I never made the connection that with each prototyping, not only did the kings and queens get an upgrade- as well as the imps... but the /entire battlefield/ changed.
@@thepinkbunnyempire1027 Tbh I can't actually remember the fourth all that well. It's been ages. I think that's the one that got the weird squiggly orbiting bits? That may have happened on the third prototyping though. Not sure.
I just watched this vid a couple times, and I realized something. Wayward Vagabond was leading a revolt against both kingdoms to end the war, does that mean.... he was going to be the leader of both kingdoms once done? I think he would have been a great leader :)

What happens after the fourth, or 12th prototyping? It seems like after the third, it's already a sphere with fully furnished land, terrains, altitudes, rescources, all of that junk! You'd think it'd become a tetrahedron, and after the fourth or fifth, it would be a sphere. Maybe with less additions, it grows bigger each time....

@ianflowforever I think the changes are so dramatic because there are only four. In the trolls case, thier changes ill be much smaller because all the changes added up have to equal the same thing as in any other session. Or at least thats my belief.
May I just point out that the white sceptre is still there? I hope something crazy happens with regards to the white Sceptre when Jade puts the battlefield in post scratch Skaia. Some random Prospitan or Dersite could be fully prototyped.
