I worked at Hafan Y mor during the 2022 season (and will be returning in 2023) as a delivery driver for Burger king and occasionally papa johns (i drove the golf cart seen at 10:08). seeing the park again brought back a load of memories.

This place looks a bit more up market than the Haven and Butlins I went to as a kid. They had a certain air of griminess to them. I remember the Butlins one mostly these days. Had arcades and a cinema and I did the hokey kokey with Dave Benson Philips. He tried to show off by jumping a small knee high fence but caught his foot and face planted. He laughed it off though.
It really is better than I remember, they’ve definitely put effort into it since the old Butlins days! I went as a young child in the early 90s, and don’t remember much; went again as a teenager, and there still wasn’t much besides the club, arcade and beach. It’s fantastic now! Will definitely be going again 😃
Amazing that you got to dance with Dave Benson Philips. Yeah they’ve really invested a lot into the holiday camps to make them desirable destinations. This was one I visited a lot back in the Butlins days, I had fun then but it’s night and day when looking at what it is now. Thanks for watching
I will be going for the first time since 2018 and I’m so excited. I have lots of memories even though this will only be my second time going. My personal favourite is the swimming pool!
Nice hope you have a great time when you visit. Yeah the swimming pool is great there. Some of the slides were closed when we visited but still had a great time.

I was there when it was a Butlins on the 14th Aug 1989. Of all things a Tornado stormed through the park, we had to sleep on the floor of the cinema and the park was shut down for the rest of the season.
Went when it was Butlins in 1972 with my best mate as 17 year olds my first holiday without my parents, the only thing that looks familiar was when you crossed over the railway bridge , I think it was better when it was Butlins , or maybe I'm getting old .😢
Yeah I can see why a lot of people would prefer the Butlins version. Especially if they have nostalgic memories for the Butlins days. I used to stay there in the 90s when it was still Butlins and one or two things looked the same. In general the site has received an overhaul. I have videos and such from the inside but it's more home video style than how I filmed this one. To be honest the pictures on the Haven website for that caravan are very accurate to what you get. Hope you have a great time when you visit
Not sure to be honest as we didn't try. However I suggest he sleeps in the bed next to the window in the room as the top of the bed is in between a wardrobe and the wall. So hopefully less chance of him falling out.
Our little one is 4 and is little for her age and we took her on the playground which she loved. She went on the family bike which I went past in the video, we went swimming and there's 2 soft play areas which she loved going into. Didn't get a chance to try the pedalos which you can take little ones on. We thought she might want to try the mini aerial adventure which is designed for the little ones but she wasn't keen on it. So there's options for the little ones :)
Yes there is a beach onsite which is nice. However about a 20 min drive away is Black Rock Sands which is a massive beach. We went to Black Rock for the afternoon during our stay

I stayed in parklands it was amazing in seven came home not that long ago
