Possibly the best on board I've ever seen of IOM TT
This conveys the reality of the speed of a fast lap better than any video I've seen.
Honestly, Rob absolutely is the next huge name on the roads. The performances this guys been putting out are staggering. Oliver's Mount was an epic one for him this year too. Stay safe Rob!

As a ex MGP competitor and now frequent hospital visitor due to old injuries, Ive been trying to tell riders interested in doing the best circuit in the world, what it actually looks and feels like.
This is exactly it.
I tell people the most important muscle to train is all of the eye muscles. You can see the bumps and jolts clearly in this video, add 10% for eye movement and its very realistic. Great job Rob and all involved. Good luck. Cheers.
I'm there with ya' on the old injuries..raced in the late 80's early 90's, hurts every day.

Absolutely mental. I've seen onboards of a lap before, but this one really brings home the insane speed they achieve while speeding past stone walls. First time I've actually sat there watching with clenched buttocks. Honestly, the amount of respect for those guys is impossible to convey in words here.

Holy fucken shit. You'd think the 750 will be way slower but this almost feels as fast as Hicky was during the TT. Still unbelievable, what these guys do on their bikes there!
I thought the same thing but then realized this lap is around 18:40, and Hicky’s record is 16:36!! More than 2 minutes faster 🤯🤯

Not once did I notice use of indicators. Shocking road craft.
So much time nailed hard into the redline, how on earth does the engine cope with that. Also so much traffic to contend with, scary stuff.
Rob loved that, the rev counter at Ballacrye was great, see you knocking about.
What zxr750 model is this? Most the bikes ive seen there have been zx7's.
Must be ackward having the spare battery for your black & decker fitted to the top yoke 😉😉 Very interesting lap though, Hate to think how much my head moved around on the slideys around there,

Just a question, how was a chin cam permitted at this event on track? Helmet mounted cameras are usually prohibited?

Why are there so few spectators in the Manx GP?It's the same track as the IOM TT wich each year have huge crowds.
Give them a chance to get there. It's early yet.
But have you tried to book a ferry and some accommodation? Rooms only become available when the existing visitors die from old age! (This from someone who decided to miss the TT in 2009 and has regretted it ever since.)
