My guess is that Hideki Naganuma (soundtrack director/artist of JGR, JSRF, Sonic Rush, and MAYBE Sonic Rush Adventure) wanted to keep the charm and style of the JSR radio soundtracks for Sonic Rush. If you listen to some of the Sonic Rush songs (Metal Scratchin' and Wrapped in Black are good examples) many voiceclips and lyrics were also used in the JSR songs.
The reason they sound so similar is because they're both by Hideki Naganuma. He tends to reuse lots from his old songs because his style allows him to get away with it pretty easily.
The perfect music to get the city into an uncontrollable forever funk.... XD Basically, they won't be able to stop dancing, singing, cheering, or rapping.... CAUSE THIS BEAT IS TOO LIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIT!
I may be wrong, but I think Naganuma actually didn't make the SRA soundtrack. It was the guy that made the Blaze remix in the first mix that made the soundtrack, he just matched Naganuma's style.
“This sounds just like that other SONI-“

"rock that shit homie" was in a kids game lol
tomrow jet set radio was rated T
Naganuma likely was not aware of what that meant. He IS Japanese, after all.
@@vewm3257 the sample was rock that shit homie
Naganuma has always been good with English, so I'm sure he knew the meaning of every word he sampled.
It was t for teen

Not rush adventure
It was Tomoya Ohtani who did Rush Adventure’s OST. It may sound like Hideki since their styles are somewhat similar
I've been trying my hardest to mix these two together for the longest but nothing worked. Good Job.
Basically what I do is play them on two different devices put rock it on at 1.25x speed and it works the same way

Went and looked it up. Turns out SRA's OST was directed by Tomoya Ohtani. It's interesting because he has almost and entirely different style.
I can't express how much I wanna thank you for this or how cool this is.
A mashup of a mashup? That could prove interesting...

Reminder that these two songs comes from a guy who has a Peter Griffin as pfp on Twitter lol
