Thanks, what manufacturing company will you recommend in China for making smart phone standard electronics.

Too many to choose one, and what's most important is finding a manufacturer that really believes in your vision.

Just FYI there was a slight sound sync issue when I watched this today.

Should I just move to China? I planned out a hybrid manufacturing but the shipping and tariffs are killers. Are there firms which are experts at manufacturing, packaging and shipping I can simply work with for a percentage of the profits?

You don't have to move to China but you may need to visit it, but it's not required. Perhaps look into sourcing agents to help you. No manufacturer is going to do all the work and then just share the profit with you for your idea. That sounds like a licensing deal which rarely happen.

I’m thinking if you really have a great product. One would be better off getting a licensing deal from Sony /LG / etc. Seems like a lot of that would be eliminated.

Sorry but it's not that simple. How do you know you have a great product until you actually sell it? You need sales proof usually to get a licensing deal. Also big companies have zero interest in licensing from small inventors. Sorry, there is no easy way:)

That is remarkably difficult. I directly sell everything that I design/manufacture and it is a lot easier and most predictable.
I have done a half dozen license deals over the years and every time they resulted in regret.
