Honestly they could have easily done just that. I’ve seen people on here who make their own Omnitrix that has a small scroll inside the watch face with all the aliens drawn on and you turn the bezel on the face to select them. All they’d have to do is make that, but then add a light inside to light up the watch face. But the face can have a solid layer with the diamond shape to see through when the light is on, but when it’s off you just see a semi transparent hourglass on top. It’d be perfect and super easy to pull off
I feel like if they ever did make a Omnitrix that was true to the show, I think the hourglass to a rhombus effect would probably be done better if it was like a smartwatch screen

Nah i was in third grade and this kid brought a cool ass Leonardo ninja turtle toy, and I stole it… I was also overcome by guilt that I tried disposing fo it in my school, but my classmates knew my love for tmnt and gave it back to me, I’m pretty sure I threw it in the trash

Ironically the “LCD mini game” omnitrix was the best one out of all these. Sound and pictures were show accurate, plus mini games and u could also unlock secret aliens by twisting it different ways like in the show
I remember when I was a kid, around 9 or 10 both of my parents (recently divorced) got me the LCD watch. Of course I didn’t keep both because there was no reason to have two watches. It was the most fun I ever had with a toy. I would play the adventure style game for hours and eventually collect all the aliens from the original series. My favorite and most anticipated alien was Benwolf.
I remember having a dream about Omnitrix. I had the classic Omnitrix on my wrist, I was far away from my house and Then I changed into Xlr8 and was racing through my city, went home in mere seconds. Changed back to human form and then I fell asleep, and being excited for the next day. Only to wake and realise that all of this was just a dream, but damn did it felt real and good
I also had a dream about the Omnitrix, what happened was that I was on a journey with a team and we were going through a cave obstacle course from a Team Umizoomi DS game I had as a kid, rocks were falling and I turned into Diamondhead to stop them, and then I woke up, I think I remember turning into other aliens earlier like Heatblast, but I couldn’t remember the rest cause it was a dream

I had the Viewscope Ulimatrix, and honestly it was my favorite of all the Omitrix toys I had, simply because the popout bit and slamming it down was the closest thing I felt they ever came to having an authentic alien selection.
Vuescope Ultimatrix was 100% the best one in my opinion. It was the closest thing to emulate holograms without strapping a plastic figure on top of the watch. And the wheel was pretty smooth too
Even though nifty ridiculed all the reboot watches, the deluxe omnitrix from the reboot is the only omnitrix that has fully replicated how it works in the show. There’s also a version of the season 3 watch that works like the viewscope ultimatrix.
I actually loved the ultimate Ultimatrix as a kid, because it wasn't a brick on my wrist and had azmuth's autograph on it- technically not accurate since the Ultimatrix in the show was albedo's cheap knock off- but it made it feel real. Yeah, it didn't pop up but my imagination did fine with the spring locked single turn- the fact that it was slim enough and had a thick strap like you suggested for the first Ultimatrix you talked about- made it feel like the real thing. I role-played better with that one than anything else I ever got.

For those who haven't seen the show the ben 10 Classic (I mean the first omnitrix) was just a prototype then the alien force was just the classic one but was recalibrated because of Ben's absence from the omnitrix and also with some other unlocked aliens and functions then the ultimatrix is just a stolen prototype by albedo then the omnitrix from omniverse is actually the finished product final omnitrix

I cannot allow you to tarnish the name of the minigame omnitrix. That shit was amazing. Big as hell, yes, but the spinning dial and alien selection more than made up for that.
I still have that version of the omnitrix, and I made a little hourglass symbol and stuck it to the face of the watch, and made a little cover that goes over the velcro strap so it looks like one continuous watch. It honestly looks really good as a budget cosplay omnitrix.
I never realized I had a knock off version of my original omnitrix with LED screen that thing helped me learn how to read, I remember I traded with a kid in elementary school who was in my swim class for the original but my dad made me give it back. Also for the ultamatrix one I had the view scope, and I don't agree with the opinon of it being bad, I think it's way cooler than the disc one. I think the LCD one it's pretty cool with how it replicates the animations seen on the series, as well as all the little animated portraits for each alien.
As a kid, I had that one that has the little triangle at the bottom. Later I had the Ultimatrix one that was more like a prop than a toy, but those two were my favorite imo. Brings back memories
If Bandai mad the strap for the Omnitrix fx look like the full gauntlet that could’ve been cool and people could just use the strap how they used to do it

I had the original digital one with the games on it and remembered loving it. I always valued being able to acc see the aliens move on the screen like in the show, and I think some of the games weren't bad either. It's funny though how your child brain remembers things, cause I would have sworn the screen was the size of the whole face - don't remember it being that small little square at all!

I had the first Omnitrix when I was a kid but my parents house caught on fire and I lost all my toys in that fire. Luckily that was the same year they bought me my first console.
Used to have the Alien Force watch when I was younger.. loved that thing. Left it at a playground and it was gone when I came back for it. Was broken. I've got the Ultimatrix laying around without the strap somewhere. Honestly think I'll look for it for the nostalgia.

As a kid all I wanted was a show-accurate replica, maybe with some lights and sounds. I was always bothered by the unnecessary gimmicks and how off-model they all looked. The Omnitrix FX was the closest thing, but even that wasn't quite it.
Personally I think that the Omnitrix FX was the best because it looked good, wasn’t to bulky, and let you actually pretend you were transforming and nothing else like the real omnitrix
The best Omnitrix I've ever had was my Gear S3 smartwatch, it has a rotating bezel so it's perfect. Sideload an omnitrix app (sorta a pain but worth it) and boom, I had the coolest watch me and my friends have ever seen. I also had the original FX watch, was cool for its time.
I remember having the alien force watch in 2010 or 2011, it was the best toy I had in my childhood........until my grandma threw it away or gave it to a bunch of kids without telling me, I miss that watch :(

I have the literal perfect omnitrix. We can use the FX omnitrix but use the hinged straps without changing the straps itself to make it look better on the wrist. If the companies actually try to use more modern tech they can mimic the hourglass to diamond effect using a simple animated transition coded in. The dial will have correlated coding with the display screen, and it will change the alien on display when you turn it. The display will be the EXACT SAME as the original show and will have CRISP CLEAR sounds when you interact with the watch.
The new omnitrix deulxe is pretty much what I always wanted, sadly it still has issues in the shapes, as it's way too bulky. I believe if they dropped some of that frankly useless audio tech it would have been amazing.
Ever since I was 10 I loved Ben 10 and all these years later I still look back and regret not ever getting the original FX watch for the first seasons of the show, sadly finding one at a reasonable price is pretty challenging, 50 bucks is the lowest I've seen for just a used one, I'm sure the price is worth it when you consider this would be fullfilling a childhood want nowadays but at the same time it wouldn't be like when I was a kid and could have this thing on me to flex at school, I just graduated out of high school and am enjoying what will be my last proper summer break, I still want to get the watch just to make the inner child in me happy, but at the same time
i loved my omnitrix fx as a kid. it didn't have any extra features but it behaved exactly like the watch on the show. i remember running after my mom in the grocery store, slamming the top down, hearing the noise, and then a couple of minutes later hearing the timeout sound. it was the coolest thing 7 year old me had ever seen
The straps on the Omnitrix fx are also easily prone to wear and tear over time, especially if you don't handle it delicately. Specifically, the fitting hooks will eventually break off and the spaces between the corresponding holes will crack open.
I had a Omnitrix where the aliens were spinning, and I had one were you could build aliens. I throwed them away. I hated them. 😑 But my favorite one was the first original (think it was fx), and I still have it after 10 ore 9 years. I won't throw it away I had to much fun with that. 😄 Miss Ben ten to. It was the biggest part and inspiration of my childhood. 😢
Yeah, you kind of had to dig deep to find any info on the Galactic Monsters Omnitrix. I didn’t know it even existed until others commented about it. I did end up talking about it in my latest video (“Looking at Comments” at 14:25). As you said, it doesn’t have many features, so there wasn’t much to discuss. I really just said it was super slim and probably the best-looking Omniverse watch toy.
RUclips recommendations is so random, but I enjoyed the video. I remember as a kid all I ever wanted was a watch that looked natural on my wrist, and rotating 'bezel' and some lights. I get that for purposes of making it a 'super-cool-marketable' toy, it should have lights, make sounds, and have additive properties, but I never really cared for any of it.
Honestly, even as a kid, I just wanted a "realistic" one with the same proportion with a good set of lights.

I cannot allow you to tarnish the name of the minigame omnitrix. That shit was amazing. Big as hell, yes, but the spinning dial and alien selection more than made up for that.
I still have that version of the omnitrix, and I made a little hourglass symbol and stuck it to the face of the watch, and made a little cover that goes over the velcro strap so it looks like one continuous watch. It honestly looks really good as a budget cosplay omnitrix.
You could unlock secret aliens by twisting it in different patterns just like in the show! So fucking cool!

I never realized I had a knock off version of my original omnitrix with LED screen that thing helped me learn how to read, I remember I traded with a kid in elementary school who was in my swim class for the original but my dad made me give it back. Also for the ultamatrix one I had the view scope, and I don't agree with the opinon of it being bad, I think it's way cooler than the disc one. I loved the way it popped up so I could slam it back down and go hero it was wicked. 🦔❄cool video though pog

You just made me remember that as a kid I had an ongoing game I played where I used my regular ass watch to turn into any character I knew (including Ben 10 aliens), and I could also transform any character I knew into an ultimate form. Good times.

I remember going to a Christian day care and they were very big on sharing and i didn’t want too so I got in trouble once for putting up my toys cause they said “you can either share or put it up” had to sit in a corner for 20 minutes
I think the LCD one it's pretty cool with how it replicates the animations seen on the series, as well as all the little animated portraits for each alien.
Shaq wearing the Omnitrix? The dude's already large enough to take on Humungosaur, why would he even need to transform into something else?
The LCD Omnitrix was my favourite because of the animations, the minigames and the fact that you could eventually unlock more aliens like in the show.

As a kid, I had that one that has the little triangle at the bottom. Later I had the Ultimatrix one that was more like a prop than a toy, but those two were my favorite imo. Brings back memories

I had the original digital one with the games on it and remembered loving it. I always valued being able to acc see the aliens move on the screen like in the show, and I think some of the games weren't bad either. It's funny though how your child brain remembers things, cause I would have sworn the screen was the size of the whole face - don't remember it being that small little square at all!
I remember I bought the spin-off watch at 6:39. I also remember begging my parents to let me buy it with my own saved money.

I had the first Omnitrix when I was a kid but my parents house caught on fire and I lost all my toys in that fire. Luckily that was the same year they bought me my first console.
Used to have the Alien Force watch when I was younger.. loved that thing. Left it at a playground and it was gone when I came back for it. Was broken.
I've got the Ultimatrix laying around without the strap somewhere. Honestly think I'll look for it for the nostalgia.
Me who had the view scope ultra matrix and thought it was the coolest thing until you lost the inside parts and the button breaks.

As a kid all I wanted was a show-accurate replica, maybe with some lights and sounds. I was always bothered by the unnecessary gimmicks and how off-model they all looked. The Omnitrix FX was the closest thing, but even that wasn't quite it.
I had them all and I loved playing with it. What I liked the most was the first
Personally I think that the Omnitrix FX was the best because it looked good, wasn’t to bulky, and let you actually pretend you were transforming and nothing else like the real omnitrix
The best Omnitrix I've ever had was my Gear S3 smartwatch, it has a rotating bezel so it's perfect. Sideload an omnitrix app (sorta a pain but worth it) and boom, I had the coolest watch me and my friends have ever seen.
I also had the original FX watch, was cool for its time.
I remember having the alien force watch in 2010 or 2011, it was the best toy I had in my childhood........until my grandma threw it away or gave it to a bunch of kids without telling me, I miss that watch :(
Seeing that Omnitrix FX again was absolute nostalgic bliss.
I had a prototype omnitrix with a green gameboy screen that activated a game where you beat badguys on the watch by turning into aliens that would work best for the scenario

I had the reboot standard as a kid and I thought it was amazing, so we can both agree that the original reboot watches were both great

I managed to get the original watch as a kid but, you know the little hooks that keeps the watch in place on your wrist? Yeah all the hooks broke off....
I have the literal perfect omnitrix. We can use the FX omnitrix but use the hinged straps without changing the straps itself to make it look better on the wrist. If the companies actually try to use more modern tech they can mimic the hourglass to diamond effect using a simple animated transition coded in. The dial will have correlated coding with the display screen, and it will change the alien on display when you turn it. The display will be the EXACT SAME as the original show and will have CRISP CLEAR sounds when you interact with the watch.
1:15 the omnitrix deluminater looks far more natural and a bit more accurate size, but it has no sound effects

The new omnitrix deulxe is pretty much what I always wanted, sadly it still has issues in the shapes, as it's way too bulky. I believe if they dropped some of that frankly useless audio tech it would have been amazing.

Ever since I was 10 I loved Ben 10 and all these years later I still look back and regret not ever getting the original FX watch for the first seasons of the show, sadly finding one at a reasonable price is pretty challenging, 50 bucks is the lowest I've seen for just a used one, I'm sure the price is worth it when you consider this would be fullfilling a childhood want nowadays but at the same time it wouldn't be like when I was a kid and could have this thing on me to flex at school, I just graduated out of high school and am enjoying what will be my last proper summer break, I still want to get the watch just to make the inner child in me happy, but at the same time
Proud to know I had the first 3. These made my childhood.

i loved my omnitrix fx as a kid. it didn't have any extra features but it behaved exactly like the watch on the show. i remember running after my mom in the grocery store, slamming the top down, hearing the noise, and then a couple of minutes later hearing the timeout sound. it was the coolest thing 7 year old me had ever seen
The straps on the Omnitrix fx are also easily prone to wear and tear over time, especially if you don't handle it delicately. Specifically, the fitting hooks will eventually break off and the spaces between the corresponding holes will crack open.
I had a Omnitrix where the aliens were spinning, and I had one were you could build aliens. I throwed them away. I hated them. 😑 But my favorite one was the first original (think it was fx), and I still have it after 10 ore 9 years. I won't throw it away I had to much fun with that. 😄 Miss Ben ten to. It was the biggest part and inspiration of my childhood. 😢

Yeah, you kind of had to dig deep to find any info on the Galactic Monsters Omnitrix. I didn’t know it even existed until others commented about it. I did end up talking about it in my latest video (“Looking at Comments” at 14:25). As you said, it doesn’t have many features, so there wasn’t much to discuss. I really just said it was super slim and probably the best-looking Omniverse watch toy.
RUclips recommendations is so random, but I enjoyed the video.
I remember as a kid all I ever wanted was a watch that looked natural on my wrist, and rotating 'bezel' and some lights. I get that for purposes of making it a 'super-cool-marketable' toy, it should have lights, make sounds, and have additive properties, but I never really cared for any of it.
