Reedy’s Ultra Rigz is a new and advanced type of fishing rig. It is a pre-tied, Paternoster rig that uses UV fibre and glows in the dark.
What’s a Paternoster Rig?
Reedy’s Ultra Rig is tied in a Paternoster formation. Using Paternoster rigs is one of the best long distance methods for catching fish. You can also use this method mid-range from close-in.
A Paternoster Rig such as Reedy’s Ultra Rigz has two main parts: One that has the lead attached and the other that has the hook attached. The main purpose of this rig is to offer as little resistance as possible to the fish, just as it moves off the bait.

Went out twice and couldn’t get into the big snapper. Got a couple pinkies that were just over the size limit but chucked them back because it wasn’t worth the keep. I’ll catch them when they’re monsters
Always though Frankston was junk for fishing, guess not. Now I can try and fish just a few miles away from my house.

Can u tell about ur rig "? Hook bait and leader
4 rods per person , 3 rigged with snell rig 5/0 or 4/0 silver whitting , pilchard .. one rigged with Reedy's ultra rig size 5/0, 6/0 . Depending on the day is what color I use , Strip baits or whitting heads.. there pre tied leader , 80lb on the paternoster , 40lb Snell cheers

depends on time of the year , this time of year i like deep water , mt martha & middle of port phillip bay straight out from mornington is where they are now with the odd big ones hand around reefs .. cheers
