I am anglophone and want to know french, and to explain English classes very well to francophones in their french language. how did you master English? it seems English is easier than french. So, although making the liaison wouldn't be a mistake as such, it's still not advised in this case, as it's rarely used in informal contexts between a verb and an article. It would make the speaker sound rather pedantic / unnatural.

Can I ask something, is it the number of french language is different? What I mean why the number 7 in french is 19? Or it just in O'clock?
In France we often use the 24 hour clock. So 7pm can be referred to as either "7 heures du soir" or "19 heures". Hope this helps 🙂
