Ekko breaks my heart: the guy lost his perfect future, lost his teacher, lost his father, lost his best friend, and lost his love. The worst part is that he knows he could have had it all, and in the end, he was left with nothing. It is too sad and unfair.
He knows what he was going back to, but he chose to save what he could from this universe instead of enjoying a perfect reality that did not belong to him. He is truly so peak as a hero, im sad he didnt get a bit more exposition with how he and Jinx made up to join forces with the rest of Zaun.
but also, there was a timeline where he stayed and enjoyed that reality so the future jayce saw actually happened because ekko didn't save them in that timeline. love how it all ties together, showing chaos is inevitable, as all timelines are possible
26:15 Someone on Reddit explained this. The one time it made a difference is when Viktor gave Jayce the Acceleration rune. This combined with Ekko's Z-drive made it possible to travel in time to change everything.
I'm glad more people are spreading this idea. I wasn't the only one to come up with it but day of premiere there were like zero comments pointing this detail out, and I had people arguing with me that the specific rune didn't matter. Ekko circling that exact rune on his chalkboard in Episode 7 proves that it was the key to everything.
At the very least it gave them a chance to rip a hole in the fabric of space-time, kind of giving me the feel that Jayce and Viktor went into some sort of multiverse or in-between?
Maybe Victor transported Ekko (like he did with Jace I think) to the other universe, so he could make a machine which the Victor we know wouldn't recognize cause he said "this device can't be", likely cause it comes from a completely different universe which was the cause our current universe was saved, by Ekko going to the other universe.
There are quite a few hints towards the end that Jinx is alive - and that she took the opportunity to do what "Silco" talked about.. walking away. One.. the shimmery reddish flash heading away from the explosion - two, Caitlyn examining the ventilation system of the area that Jinx "died" in.. they found the bomb fragments, but not any bodily remains apparently... and finally: in the very first episode Powder said that one day she'd fly in one of those blimp ships.. and a blimp heading away for parts unknown just happens to be the very last shot of the series. Hopefully we'll have that theory validated one day.
@@whisp2508 he basically had to cushion her fall for her to survive in the first place. You can just picture them hitting the ground and his claw pops open on impact.
@@whisp2508There’s no reason for them to add so many hints and have the cast react to the question “Is jinx alive?” In such a mysterious manners But when they asked if Jayce and Viktor was alive they just said “No, straight up obliterated”
@@KEVERIANCunfortunately they are indeed done with this cast. They might give us one or two cameos in the next series but Riot said that the storylines for other regions are next.
My guy Ekko came through and put MVP numbers on the board. Left his paradise and dream girl behind, return to his own chaotic world to save it, stopped Jinx’s deleting herself. Resistant Viktor’s mind control and saved the world. And was rewarded for noble and valor acts with loneliness and sorrow. The Boy Savior, The Boy Who Shattered Time. Ekko was the true hero of the series, at least in my thoughts he is.
Don't worry, Jinx is alive, that was her in that airship at the end. That is why Cait is holding the bomb remnants and looking at the tower air vents, where she fell. There is also a shimmer trail when the explosion happens, darting off to the side.
Negative, that pink streak that we saw that usually comes from her eyes when she uses her shimmer speed was actually her eye ball flying away from the explosion. She got blown the fudge up and her eye balls flew away super fast and gave the illusion of her shimmer speed. We are all just drinking a tall glass of copium and Cait smiled because she knew the air ducts will make the smell of death not linger too long which means less work for them! :D (Kidding!)
Meh, if Jinx is alive that's just dumb and I hope they don't make any more of this story. Having her survive that would just be cheap writing. I feel like they left it like this on purpose because they know they're not doing anymore and therefore never have to confirm or deny the death necessarily.
@@allbiesthat’s not a valid Rebuttal to her being alive lol. Almost every piece of evidence suggests she’s alive especially the pink shimmer streak You’re entire argument is basically “Oh she can’t be alive cuz that just wouldn’t make any sense” Yet we see her basically get away. There’s no other explanation for the pink streak And how exactly would it be “cheap writing” lol? If anything i feel like her dying is lowkey cheap writing considering the main conflict was resolved and she got killed because her sister decided to mourn in the worst place ever But to each their own I just don’t understand how it could possibly be “cheap writing” all cuz what? The main character didn’t die in a tragic way or something?😂 I think I speak for majority of people when I say this. We want Jinx Alive
@@allbies they are making more though, yes "arcane" is done, but they will make other shows showcasing other nations around the planet of Runeterra. Also in lore Jinx plays a part in some of other characters stories from other parts of the world, so she is probably still alive unless they are changing the lore.
+ Heimerdinger, Jayce and Viktor, considering that Viktor gave Jayce the acceleration rune that made it possible for Ekko and Heimerdinger to make the time manipulation device and Jayce and Viktor destroyed the anomaly.
26:03 if you notice, there's a different rune on the stone each time. Only this specific Rune, always to Jayce. But what we miss is thst this is the Rune that Jayce uses to inspire the HexGate, the one he has the most notes about. Jayce's "Acceleration" Rune. It's his notes about this tune that allowed Ekko to build the Z drive and invent the time function that A) let's him return to this reality and B) do something Arcane Viktor can't account for, e.g. "that device can't be." So, it's only Jayce that can show him the error of his ways because of their love for each other. But it's Ekkos ingenuity that saves them.
Viktor kept trying to find a way to stop himself because while he achieved his goal he only realized it meant nothing once he did. "Fields of dreamless solitude." and "No prize to perfection, only an end to persuit." Future viktor realized his mistake and kept trying to change it by giving Jayce different runes and trying over and over and over until we got this timeline where it worked because he gave Jayce the Acceleration rune, which ekko used to make the Z-drive, which ended up stopping Viktor.
Guys very subtle but the reason Sevika has a seat on the council is because Caitlyn gave her own seat up as the Kiramman seat is hers after Cassandra's death. It's not pronounced but shows us Cait's working towards redemption.
This is why I've lived Arcane, the team behind it has a solid grasp on life and have time and again delivered us aspects of it. Things don't always end more often than not all tied up with a nice little bow, so often things end with things unsaid, the feel that we had missed opportunities, took paths we might have rather not, it's part of the experience. Like Viktor came to realize, there's no prize in perfection, for my money he got some of the best lines, his "In the pursuit of great, we failed to do good.", still resonates with me.
the boy savior gave up everything to save everyone else. Had his perfect, dream future with his dream girl, and he still went back for his own people. Love him
19:22 Seriously, the scene with Viktor and Jayce was so beautiful! the artists are absolutely incredible (I love these two so much😭In my head they are happy together in some dimension)
I love that Ekko rewinds right back to 1 second after he dodged the robot on Viktor. From Viktors perspective Ekko flew in on his board, dodged the counter attack, then suddenly appeared at a different angle above him and threw an impossible device at him that then exploded. Also Ekko has never met Viktor before this.
Girls Jinx didnt die if you slow down before the explosion you see a pink flash go trough a tunnel. That why Caitlyn was looking at the blueprints of the tower with the piece of her grenade and the final scene showing a blimp going away and Jinx said when she was little " one day when im older ill fly one of those thing"
Yh jinx for sure lived. I'll let others in the comments type out the explanations but yh the clues and hints all point to her breaking the cycle and leaving for a fresh start like silco said
Jinx looked so at peace in that moment and it tore my heart to shreds. She chose to walk away and break the cycle, on her terms. She gave Vander his rest
I and a lot of folks share your ladies' feelings of confliction and unsatisfyingness. Arcane definitely could have had more and episodes and seasons. Some elements and story beats were definitely rushed and skipped over. But what a truly peak series that had a generational run. The amount of hype, chills, and goosebumps I had when Jinx and Ekko show up to the battlefield. The Presentation was remarkable. While this might be a series finale, I’m with Caitlyn when she said “Their story isn’t done.” We’re definitely getting some spinoffs, and Jinx is so most definitely not dead. The React Pack reaction enhanced this already incredible show to a high level of dopeness levels.
I think for Arcane S2 to be perfect, each episode needed like 15 more minutes of runtime. Either that or a third season entirely. Don't get me wrong, it was a beautiful experience, but the breakneck pacing made it hard to digest whereas S1 felt pretty neatly wrapped. I also think if we had more time in each episode, we would feel more for the big moments, namely Jinx's 'death'. Still loved this show so much though, and sad it's over.
It wasn’t rushed but s1 and s2 just have two entirely different things going on. S1: Is just start of Hextech and heavily focused on Jinx and Vi’s relationship S2: Imo more focused on Hextech and trying to set up an arc revolving around Noxus. Sister rivalry arc was wrapped up in the first 3 eps with the rest just them healing their relationship. So basically you have the first season where it’s more focused on two sides (sisters being on opposing sides) with no big common enemy. Then you have s2 where we actually have two huge antagonist. One being Viktor someone who has experienced Piltover and the undercity and the other being Ambessa who sets up our Journey in Noxus. Different stakes overall
There is no prize to perfection, only an end to pursuit. I don't think a "perfect" season exists, I'd rather enjoy what we have instead of thinking of what it could have been, especially since to me the way they did it is completely satisfactory enough. And I think the pace of S2 is intentional, I don't think it was because they didn't have enough time to do everything as some people argue. I'm pretty sure the writing for both season 1 and 2 were done at the same time It also means that we can expect the next shows to come faster.
Jinx knows that she can't be happy in Piltover anymore, she needs a new start somewhere else, but if Vi thought she was alive, she would follow her to the ends of the earth, feeling responsible for her for the rest of their lives In Jinx's mind, losing her would hurt Vi for now of course, but in the long run staying in Piltover with Cait would be the happiest life she could give her sister, so she fakes her death to give her that chance
I will miss this series. Arcane is a masterpiece. Everything is done great - characters, animation, music, atmosphere and story. One of the best series I've ever seen and one of the few that I would give 10/10. Good job Riot and Fortiche. 👏
how noxus works in terms of leadership is everyone is allowed to prove their worth and that they have what it takes to lead if they challenge another leader. Reason the soldiers didnt interfere and the reason why the soldiers bowed to mel
The reason why a lot of people are feeling unsatisfied is because mainly we didn't get a lot of ekko and jinx moments as we should have, they rushed that part quickly and personally I would have liked to see more
How did so many poeple forget Viktors monologue from the end of EP6? He said every good comes with its equal bad, in EP7 they underline that with showing a "perfect world" through the sacrifice of Vi and Hextech that led everyone to use their potential to make up for the loss. In this episode Ekko, Jayce, Viktor and Caitlyn all said that struggle is the right indicator of value, otherwise Viktor 2.0 would be the hero of this story because he found a way to cheat and Jinx would be the rational mind because she was trying to trade her struggle with whats beyond the finish line. Is this message so hard to agree with or why do so many poeple try and overthink it into something else?
The problem is that the core conflict stemmed from the one between Piltover and Zaun, which is always relatable because it’s such a relatable situation of class conflict. So when it’s sidelined for Viktor, with near zero explanation on how Zaunites like Sevika overcome their hatred for their oppressors, it lost that connection to the audience. What Viktor did was extreme but it still didn’t address Piltover’s glory is built on the toxic waste they dumped in Zaun. Yet both sides are just labeled as being blinded by emotions.
@@jamharry836 ah ok, that part seemed logical to me as the phenomenon gets focused on alot in my social enviroment to reflect on my countries history, that explains why my impression of this episode varies to that of many poeple i see.
@@jamharry836 Yes but this is something thats baked into the lore of league. Zaun is the crude poor undercity filled with orphans and mechanical/mutated people. They havent even introduced half the characters from piltover and zaun, they cant resolve all its deeply rooted struggles in a few years. I see what you are saying that the whole classist issue is kind of abandoned but its neither going to be fixed soon nor something that lots of characters would be Effected by .
@@praisethefirstborn6226 they didn't lay down their differences they had to fight Viktor to keep them intact, that's what common enemies/interest are used for by many lifeforms, not to eradicate all differences but to keep them. You can be bad at that like Ambessa trying to kill the black rose with a bigger evil or good at it like Sevica using Piltovers vulnerability to gain influence on its council.
One thing I love is how even after Victor reached perfection. He still kept the blanket Jayce gave him when he was revived. Even when finality was within his grasp he still wanted his partner by his side.
26:06 my interpretation is that viktor would eventually discover hextech anyways. in the timeline where they don't have hextech, viktor still gifted a rune to jayce, it just stopped being developed (at least temporarily) due to the explosion killing Vi. Viktor also says that Jayce was the only person 'to show him [his misconceptions]' which to me is saying that Viktor would always get there, but only Jayce could stop him
I recently discovered this channel and enjoyed watching all of arcane with the three of you. I just wanna say, I hope Morgan got what she wanted. She said she really wanted a dark show to get a good cry in and see some character deaths.
As sad as it was I loved the ending, I also would have hated it if they just had everything go okay since it's a war and it shouldn't be depicted light heartedly or with rose tinted glasses
as a league of legends player this ending was more exciting due to the reveals and teases for the next series to come. Many characters from different regions have been teased and pointed to which is very interesting. (heim isnt dead)
Heimer don't die. Yordle can't actually die. They just gonna respawn in bandle city. One of league character is Vex, a depressed Yordle. She's depressed because she can't die.
as you guys noticed (unlike a lot of other reactors for some reason), Jinx trying to kill herself in the beginning isn't a surprise, she's been suicidal since she lost Silco. The surprise is that what she talked to Caitlyn and Silco's ghost about caused her to decide to leave instead of becoming another casualty, thus finally "breaking the cycle" instead of dying, which is also the only thing that could force Vi into living for herself for the first time. This is why we see Jinx surviving the end of the episode. Viktor was also never out to control or rule everybody in the hivemind, he was "only" out to force unity on everybody at the cost of individuality. Doesn't make him any less morally wrong to do so, but it's a pretty important distinction that the show tells us on multiple occasions. If this wasn't true, none of the stuff with Future Viktor would make any sense. I really appreciate how they packed every single answer to the presented storylines into the episode, my only real issue is that they pretend that putting Sevika on the counsel is a happy ending, rather than dissolving or completely rehauling Piltover from the ground up
Arcane, for me, is one of the greatest things ever created. What a beautiful masterpiece in so many ways, from animation to writing to acting to art style etc
Jinx is alive. She's in a different universe now. She changed her hair color to black and she's sitting right at the middle of that couch. You can't fool me Jinx.
Yeah i love this show but this season felt rushed in a lot of ways, Jinx wanting to die but next scene shes fine, Mel apparently getting powers and knowing right away how to use them, Ambessa making a very weird alliance that gave her nothing and dying in a very weird way, Vi going down on cat knowing that her sister left to die alone and a lot more things. I really think this needed another season but even after the flaws in this finale, this show is one of the best i have seen in my life
Victor tried to Make the perfect world but kept destroying it. Giving the stone to jayce was like the only reset button he had, then eventually understood jayce always showed him the imperfections of his perfect plan. Ekko came from a place he tried create and never thought existed. The dimension where the time bomb was created that he also thought shouldn't exist. Life goes far beyond understanding
25:02 Gamesradar wrote an article where the arcane creator said in an interview that this final episode was originally an hour+ long btw. Apparently in the scene 2:21 we might have gotten more about how Ekko ecplains more about his experience with the other Powder and even a scene where they paint their "war gear" for the fight. 7:02 Imo Maddie's character flipped a little too suddenly here, from being nice and anti Ambessa's crusade to wanting to killing Cait in an instand. I would have loved to see that developmeent on screen more, like many developments in this season. Still like this season a lot though but the last episode originally being longer (about 1:30 hous I read) would have definitely helped it. Betraying Cait seems so dumb to me as Maddie, cause if Cait fails Maddie and all her enforcer friends will likely be turned into a machines by Viktor so she's sacrificing everyone just cause of Cait?! 5:54 Maddie likely put the nail there as well In season 1 there was a cut scene with Ekko trying to save Jinx from Silco after she was with him from some time. She refused Ekko's hel back then and that is also why she called him "boy savior" on the bridge before their fight. I think in-game Ekko also has a vioce line which says sth like "I had a crush on you before you started talking with a gun". 7:51 Jinx here looks like a more colorful version of venom transformed Spider Gwen. 25:46 I guess in all the timelines "God" Victor was experimenting with how he can prevent it all ending in those realities. He found out that Jace can show him his wrongs and therefore saves him in the mountains with his mother as a child. 26:34 Maybe in the other timelines Victor often turns into "god" regardless of Jace, but Jace is the only one who can possibly stop him. I think Victor transported Ekko (like he did with Jace I think) to the other universe, so he could make a machine which the Victor we know wouldn't recognize cause he said "this device can't be", likely cause it comes from a completely different universe which was the cause our current universe was saved, by Ekko going to the other universe. Jace being transported to the bad timeline showed current Victor what he had to see when he touched Jace, to stop with his endavor to make the world "perfect".
In regards to Maddie's betrayal it did seem quick at first to me as well but didnt seem like it was just because Cait was gonna dump her; thinking back, watching again and ive seen a few things pointed out that suggest that she was probably an Ambessa agent all along. In Episode 3 Ambessa mentions to Salo about having an eye on Cait's operations in Zaun which with them be a small infiltration unit it would have to be someone on the team giving info, also she was pretty damn quick to start pounding her chest like a Noxian at the end of episode 3. And her acting anti-Ambessa might have just been a ploy to see where Caitlyn's head was at so Ambessa would know how to best manipulate her. There were a few other things that i dont remember; is it reading into things too much? who knows but sounds plausible to me.
There will be more series in the world of Runeterra. Noxus, Ionia, Demacia are the 3 Different Spinoffs Series or Movies after Arcane but it will take time and Noxus will be the next series. That's all I can say because I might spoil it because I've been playing League of Legends since its release.
Jinx survived the event. This is because, during the explosion, she appears surrounded by pink rays and one of them is seen coming out of the corner in milliseconds. In the final frames of the episode, there is the vision of a floating mobile airship leaving Piltover - the central city of the production -, which suggests that the character could have a redemption arc away from her sister. In the first season, in the opening episodes, Jinx (Powder) had told Vi that one of her dreams was to pilot one of these airships, which creates a parallel with the final scene of "Arcane". Another highlight that could corroborate the theory is that Caitlyn (then head of the Piltover Guard) revisits the maps of the pipes of the space in which Jinx fell with Vander. There, she finds a possible escape and understands that the character may have escaped.
There's a frame where the explosion happens, right before it, there's a streak of pink like how Jinx moves, and there's no other streak after the explosion. So its more than likely, highly plausible, that Jinx left the explosion before she got hit. And then the blimp that was at the end was to fulfil Jinx's quote from season 1 ep 1 where she said shed ride one of those. It's also "The End" in Jinx's hand writing
Victor talks about achieving perfection, but Jayce tells him there’s beauty in imperfections-and that Victor was never broken or imperfect. Jayce admired him. After Ekko’s attack on Victor, Jayce talks to him again. He tells Victor he just wants his partner back. When Victor asks, “Why do you persist?” Jayce hugs Victor and says, “Because I promised.” The moment Jayce touches him, he sees flashes of what Jayce saw in the Arcane’s destroyed world, similar to Episode 6 with Singed’s memory. In this vision, another Viktor tells Jayce: “I thought I could end the world’s suffering. But when every problem was solved, all that remained were fields of dreamless solitude. Nothing. There is no prize to perfection. It ends the pursuit-people stop chasing their dreams. It all ends. Only you could show me this.” (teach me this, maybe I think he means). The first Viktor, his mask slashed open, watches this interaction standing behind Jayce. Victor realizes he must stop. His glorious evolution, his perfection, isn’t the solution. It only leads to fields of dreamless solitude.
Some explanations and theories I've seen online. 1.Viktor didn't give Jace just 1 stone. You can see the runes are different when he is dropping it in young Jayce's hands. Only the "acceleration" stone led to the good ending because it is what Ekko reverse engineered to make his time device. His turn to darkness might be influenced by the arcane or shimmer corrupting him or narrowing his vision. 2. Jynx is alive. There is a purple streak before the explosion. It ties into this season's theme of moving forward by leaving things behind. This is reinforced by Ekko and AU Powder saying the same thing and Jynx's internal dialogue with Silco on ending the cycle. Vi and Jynx coexisting would never work because of all the internal conflicts and the fact that Jynx killed Cait's mom among all her other crimes. Jynx already decided she was going to leave when she tells Vi she is always with her even if they are worlds apart. Jynx was also depressed to hear that Vi confirmed she would never give up on her when she broke her out of jail. She wants Vi to move on and be happy. 3. Mel always intended to kill Ambessa if she didn't listen to reason. She is too far gone in her quest for war and revenge. But she took out 2 birds with one stone. Let the black rose finish her mom and then (seemingly) take out the Black Rose in a surprise ambush.
I think it’s crazy to think that Viktor says “only you can show me this” and it’s not only because of the power of the rune but also because of Ekko! Ekko used the ‘acceleration’ rune to make the timeloop device and it was the game changer for that timeline.
so jinx is most likely alive there are a bunch of hints during the explosion and after. the idea is she was on that air ship in the outro. Hiemerdenger is an immortal he will reincarnate in a matter of time, he was also aware of this which is why he was not bothered to lay his life down for echo to return to his timeline
JINX IS ALIVEEE she's on the air ship that shows at the end, she's supposedly leaving Piltover/Zaun so Vi could be happy with Caitlyn and live in peace without worrying about her. Also at the end Cait's looking at the map of where Jinx fell with Vander, she's holding the monkey bomb jinx was holding before she fell so I'm guessing they went down there to find a body but didn't. I think Cait knows she still alive but chose not to tell Vi so Vi wouldn't leave to go find her again. And Jinx during the explosion used her shimmer speed power and left through one of the vent's.
Spoiler alert: Show is actually about Ekko. If he never does the job that causes the explosion that causes Jace to discover Hextech...as shown in episode 7 season 2. Rumor has it that it is Ekko that saves Jinx/Powder...If you watch carefully, there are 4 lighting flashes before as the explosion is happening, giving Jinx time, and time, and time, and time to escape Ekko reverses time 4 times, thus the the pink streak is Jinx escaping in the mist of those time reversals...four different lightning bursts. Next rumor is that The Three Eyed Raven, eating the remains of the Arcane core, is a hint to the next stories. There have been multiple scenes throughout the show showing ravens. Black Rose has a character called LeBlanc who uses chains. Lastly Mel gets added as a champion for the game in 2025.
The Viktor that saved Jayce completed his goal, to give hextech to the people which erases human emotions. With no human emotions everyone is essentially a one mind with no conflict and pain. But by doing that he realize that without human emotions, all he see is an empty wasteland devoid of dreams and hope. Realizing that he fucked up he went back in time to save jayce and gives him runes.
26:34 -> Everytime there is time travel involved in any show or story, I tend to activate my suspension of disbelief, because when you try to dig a bit too deep in the search for an explanation of the hows and whys, it gets confusing and contradictory real quick.
26:20 cause it had to start at some point, I assume jayce go the "first stone" from somebody else and this kickstarted this paradox, and then victor AFTER "killing everybody" realised this and tried every rune that exists to timetravel and try every one by giving them jayce and seeing which "verson / Timeline" is the Right one... probably
I felt things were a bit rushed and unsatisfying. There were A LOT of threads that had to be wrapped up and not a lot of time to do so. So while I think the ending is good and gets better when you sit and think about it and read/talk what others are saying about it, there's still an air of "meh" for me. Overall it was an amazing show with probably the best animation I've ever seen. We're obviously getting more animated LoL content, but unless Fortiche is involved there will never quite be anything like Arcane again.
It was only Jayce that could show him that conversation. The difference is in the runes that future viktor was giving him. In this version, he gives him the acceleration rune. And the acceleration rune is why ekko was able to create the zdrive and return to this timeline and throw it at viktor to save the day. Ekko mentions the acceleration rune in episode 7.
Jinx and Heimer are not dead. Heimer is old enough and knows enough about the arcane. He is also a Yordel. They don't really die. "Blink of an eye." He isn't dead, just somewhere else in time. And Jinx is very much alive. They give so many clues without just straight up saying it and she's on that airship at the end. It ties into the very first episode when Powder says, while looking at an airship, "I'm going to ride on of those." And there is only 2 possible locations that airship is going. Ionia or Bildgewater. Next series is going to be based in Ionia. There is a theory Jhin is also on that airship at the end.
8:12 one of the hypest and most underrated parts of the finale. The guy throwing the molotov cocktail IS THE BARTENDER CHUCK that faced off with Jynx in Season 1 episode 6.
" That which inspires us to our greatest good, is also the cause of our greatest evil " Viktor 👉Swain carries a three(6) eyed raven. Next Runeterra Animated Series... She lived..Silko said the only way to break the cycle is for her to walk away. She chose to make everyone think she was dead so that she could break the cycle. If Vi knew she survived she would have done everything to find Jinx, continuing the cycle. You can see a purple line before the explosion due to Jinx's shimmer zoom out of the blast, Cait looking at the hex gate blueprints focusing on the vents, and the airship at the end, referring to Powder's dream of riding one of them in the first episode.
well... Jinx didn't die, and the show kind of shows this... at the time of the explosion, you can see a purple rais coming out of her, and later when Catly is looking at the diagrams of the extec tower, while holding a part of the Jinx's bomb even, she sees side exits, side siege tunnels... and the last scene is an airboat leaving, quickly cutting to a graffiti of Jinx. then...
This season could’ve benefited from a fourth act or even an extra episode to give some story elements and characters more depth. The deaths of Loris and the jinxer leader with blue dreads had no impact at all, just familiar faces to kill off in the finale. There should’ve been more scenes with Ekko and Jinx in the lead up to the war too. Idk I thought the show sticked the landing but it definitely left me wanting more
1. Highly unlikely that Jayce, Viktor, Heimer, Jinx, and Vander are actually dead. For Jayce, Viktor, and Heimer specifically, it seems like they were teleported. 2. Viktor was probably experimenting with how to make Jayce stop him because young Viktor would have probably developed Hextech anyways. Other similar tech exists in Runeterra.
in the act 3 afterglow interview the creator said it was the end for jayce & viktor, basically confirmed their deaths. and for jinx he said “figure it out” and ella purnell was grinning - heavily implying she’s alive when you factor in all the hints in the episode like the shimmer streak before the explosion and cait looking at the vent system where jinx could’ve escaped.
She may not be... They're doing another set like Marvel Universe.. The Spin-off is more to do about/with Mel. Jace was the only one that Viktor would let get close enough to see. They had the Stones in the alt Universe but with Violets and Viktor's death Jinx took the stone making every believe they were destroy in the explosion.
Im not really sure but, i think jinx is alive you can see caitlyn holding that monkey head and zooming in at the air ducts/cooling system blueprint, jinx probably use that route to escape
Jinx didn't die that blimp at the end is the same one from the first episode where powder says she gonna ride one day, plus cait discovering the vent tunnels shows that they never found the body
Powder is here... So around 21:44 you dont have that in your video but when people put papers in the bowl for the dead, there is a moment where we see someone with the same haircut and color as the powder from the other dimension. The hint is that she has a pink / red bit of hair just like that one in hommage of VI. Could powder have condamn her dimension by creating a bigger anomaly because we know she has the gems.
For anyone who's asking what Ekko wrote on that piece of paper. T'was seen as *"Der"* soo... it's _HeimerdinDer_ 👌😆 Also, Arcane watcher should legit watch "Nightmare on Reroll Street: Part 2" _recommended after act3_ *_PowDer_*
Throughout the whole show, no one used mel. Ambessa didn't even want to use her when rictus(her right had man) suggested it after their first confrontation by the black rose.
Jinx is most probably alive, we kind of see a flash escape before the explosion and in top of that at the end you see Caitlyn zoom in on a vent were the explosion was and smirk knowingly
Well, some stories felt incomplete because they are, this is technically not the end of the story even though it's the end of the Arcane show, or I think it's better to say the end of the Piltover and Zaun story in current time. But some of these characters we will see again in the future shows/spin-offs, three of them have already been confirmed that are in development.
They announced the other day there's 3 more League of legends shows from this world in development. So I think we're gonna see some of these characters again. At least Mel for sure.
we probably learn more in future seasons . the story around the arcane and hextech and all that is over, but doesnt mean we will completly move to something else
It looked like Victor was giving him the same stone but with different runes on it. So maybe the rune affects how the stone works? I don't know for sure tho.
Viktor giving Jayce the acceleration rune this time is what made Heimerdinger and Ekko invent the time manipulation ability that ultimately made the biggest difference in the final timeline.
Spoiler for heimedingers fate: if they build upon his race you find out that they are basically immortal and when they „die“ they go back to the place they came from. All yordles do. So he is alive
Ekko breaks my heart: the guy lost his perfect future, lost his teacher, lost his father, lost his best friend, and lost his love. The worst part is that he knows he could have had it all, and in the end, he was left with nothing. It is too sad and unfair.
...."leaving a few things behind"
He knows what he was going back to, but he chose to save what he could from this universe instead of enjoying a perfect reality that did not belong to him. He is truly so peak as a hero, im sad he didnt get a bit more exposition with how he and Jinx made up to join forces with the rest of Zaun.
Problem with that if he stay in that universe, he also took place of Ekko in that universe
thats what heros do :3
but also, there was a timeline where he stayed and enjoyed that reality so the future jayce saw actually happened because ekko didn't save them in that timeline. love how it all ties together, showing chaos is inevitable, as all timelines are possible
What is the acceleration rune?when did he gave it ?
I like how the rune itself looks like a hand giving out a rune
I've seen tons of people saying this but I don't get how she'd get out of Warwick's claw wrapped around her whole body

Crazy what he sacrificed to just give jinx a chance at life even if it meant he couldnt be with her.
@jaredharris8401 Heroes like Ekko never get a major Ws.
Like Puck told Reinhard, a hero is all you’ll be. Hero’s don’t get the happy ending they deserve.
MVP
(Kidding!)
@@Naesala119 had me in the first half 😂
Meh, if Jinx is alive that's just dumb and I hope they don't make any more of this story. Having her survive that would just be cheap writing. I feel like they left it like this on purpose because they know they're not doing anymore and therefore never have to confirm or deny the death necessarily.
@@allbiesthat’s not a valid Rebuttal to her being alive lol. Almost every piece of evidence suggests she’s alive especially the pink shimmer streak
You’re entire argument is basically
“Oh she can’t be alive cuz that just wouldn’t make any sense”
Yet we see her basically get away. There’s no other explanation for the pink streak
And how exactly would it be “cheap writing” lol?
If anything i feel like her dying is lowkey cheap writing considering the main conflict was resolved and she got killed because her sister decided to mourn in the worst place ever
But to each their own I just don’t understand how it could possibly be “cheap writing” all cuz what? The main character didn’t die in a tragic way or something?😂

Jayce mvp...

@TronBKNY your blind..did you not watch Viktor last scene?? He said "Only you" smh... 🤣 🤣
"that device can't be."
So, it's only Jayce that can show him the error of his ways because of their love for each other. But it's Ekkos ingenuity that saves them.
Viktor kept trying to find a way to stop himself because while he achieved his goal he only realized it meant nothing once he did. "Fields of dreamless solitude." and "No prize to perfection, only an end to persuit."
Future viktor realized his mistake and kept trying to change it by giving Jayce different runes and trying over and over and over until we got this timeline where it worked because he gave Jayce the Acceleration rune, which ekko used to make the Z-drive, which ended up stopping Viktor.
Ekko sitting on the same ledge looking at the same view he left the Alternate Universe Powder on crushed me.
The same ledge Vi and Powder sat at at the end of Ep1 S1. The same ledgr Vi sat with her mother.
Guys very subtle but the reason Sevika has a seat on the council is because Caitlyn gave her own seat up as the Kiramman seat is hers after Cassandra's death. It's not pronounced but shows us Cait's working towards redemption.
Would have hit more if we actually heard them get mad at Caitlyn but I can’t complain cause then I’ll be homophobic
Crazy how this is the final episode. It was and will always be one of the best shows ever
Mel used Ambessa as bait to defeat Leblanc/ Black Rose shadow lady but it was too late.
it was LeBlanc. Mel very intentionally referred to her as The Deciever which is leblanc's champion title. Plus the eye makeup is a dead giveaway.
I thought it was Mel going super saiyan that killed Ambessa
Jinx coming back to fight in full color is so uplifting. I'm happy that she's in a better head-space after Ekko talked with her.
Agreed S1 was perfection. S2 was rushed and needed some more episodes. But was still damn good.
It wasn’t rushed but s1 and s2 just have two entirely different things going on.
S1: Is just start of Hextech and heavily focused on Jinx and Vi’s relationship
S2: Imo more focused on Hextech and trying to set up an arc revolving around Noxus.
I'm pretty sure the writing for both season 1 and 2 were done at the same time
It also means that we can expect the next shows to come faster.
Jinx knows that she can't be happy in Piltover anymore, she needs a new start somewhere else, but if Vi thought she was alive, she would follow her to the ends of the earth, feeling responsible for her for the rest of their lives
In Jinx's mind, losing her would hurt Vi for now of course, but in the long run staying in Piltover with Cait would be the happiest life she could give her sister, so she fakes her death to give her that chance
people have to remember that this story is a tragedy its not gonna have a fairy tale happy ever after ending
Reason the soldiers didnt interfere and the reason why the soldiers bowed to mel
i looove your reactions, here since day one of arcane, what emotional journey!!
This series was AWESOME!!!! I’m mad viktor and Jayce didn’t kiss 😢
The creator did say that he thinks ekko and jinx’s story is worth continuing so hopefully they’ll get together in a future installment
A Hero is someone who sacrifices his love for the entire world (Ekko)
A Villain is someone who sacrifices the entire world for love (Singed)
I really appreciate how they packed every single answer to the presented storylines into the episode, my only real issue is that they pretend that putting Sevika on the counsel is a happy ending, rather than dissolving or completely rehauling Piltover from the ground up
Cool to see Swain's Crows and Orianna being teased. Few plot holes but who knows if they'll make a lower budget show to continue the lore.
At the end of the show Vi and Jinx were sisters again, so regardless of all the bad shit that happened I'll count that as a W.
Plus we have Orianna!

You will not be missed Maddie
In every timeline Viktor ends up doing the glorious evolution and he knew only Jace can show him magic and be the one to stop him.
5:54 Maddie likely put the nail there as well
In season 1 there was a cut scene with Ekko trying to save Jinx from Silco after she was with him from some time.
Im happy that you guys were one of the few reactors who commented on ekko once again being alone. It like they cant help but keep him down.
I'm so glad Ekko and Jinx managed to team up, even if it's bittersweet since Ekko never got a chance to connect with her on a deeper level afterwards.
Feel so bad for ekko. Gave up happiness to save the world but at what cost😔.
so jinx is most likely alive there are a bunch of hints during the explosion and after. the idea is she was on that air ship in the outro. Hiemerdenger is an immortal he will reincarnate in a matter of time, he was also aware of this which is why he was not bothered to lay his life down for echo to return to his timeline
The boy saviour🗣️🗣️🗣️🗣️
My only problem with this season is sevikas haircut 😂
Now onto the next 3 confirmed projects!
26:20 cause it had to start at some point, I assume jayce go the "first stone" from somebody else and this kickstarted this paradox, and then victor AFTER "killing everybody" realised this and tried every rune that exists to timetravel and try every one by giving them jayce and seeing which "verson / Timeline" is the Right one... probably
“Maddie’s dying too”. 🤫🤭
We made it….
Singed instigated everything , and was the only one that won at the end lol
8:12 one of the hypest and most underrated parts of the finale. The guy throwing the molotov cocktail IS THE BARTENDER CHUCK that faced off with Jynx in Season 1 episode 6.
And then ambessa executes him a few seconds later in the same scene
" That which inspires us to our greatest good, is also the cause of our greatest evil " Viktor
👉Swain carries a three(6) eyed raven.
F IN THE CHAT FOR LORIS
well... Jinx didn't die, and the show kind of shows this... at the time of the explosion, you can see a purple rais coming out of her, and later when Catly is looking at the diagrams of the extec tower, while holding a part of the Jinx's bomb even, she sees side exits, side siege tunnels... and the last scene is an airboat leaving, quickly cutting to a graffiti of Jinx. then...
The opening to this episode is so hauntingly beautiful. The song Wasteland reminds me of Goodbye from S1E3.
Singed truly the MVP and winner of Arcane, generational goat status
T'was seen as *"Der"*
soo... it's _HeimerdinDer_ 👌😆
Also, Arcane watcher should legit watch "Nightmare on Reroll Street: Part 2" _recommended after act3_
*_PowDer_*
Ekko sacrificed paradise to help his world and got arguably the worst ending, meanwhile Singed instigated every fight and got everything he wanted 😭😭
Im glad they feel conflicted. For all what Season 1 was and how promising Season 2 looked, this ending is surely disappointing.
I am not above being aroused at the fact that Fortichè and Riot are teaming up to do 3 more seasons of seperate stories
They announced the other day there's 3 more League of legends shows from this world in development. So I think we're gonna see some of these characters again. At least Mel for sure.
we probably learn more in future seasons . the story around the arcane and hextech and all that is over, but doesnt mean we will completly move to something else
not a season, but a diffirent show, they showed beatrice so looks like noxus is going to be the next destination
26:50 Jayce would've died as a kid with his mom from the cold, in order to keep the timeline he had to give him inspiration to create hextech
thank god i wasnt the only one who thought s2 was rushed
It looked like Victor was giving him the same stone but with different runes on it. So maybe the rune affects how the stone works? I don't know for sure tho.
Viktor giving Jayce the acceleration rune this time is what made Heimerdinger and Ekko invent the time manipulation ability that ultimately made the biggest difference in the final timeline.
Spoiler for heimedingers fate: if they build upon his race you find out that they are basically immortal and when they „die“ they go back to the place they came from. All yordles do. So he is alive
Singe gets the best ending lol wtf
Fun fact: During the chase scene where Ekko tries to reach Jayce they play Ekko's theme from the game
