Chanel Slides Kash doll
This is one of best dance/funk jams of the 80s! With special recognition to the production and vocal talents of Full Force!
FROM BOGOTÁ COLOMBIA, GREAT VIDEO,, UN SALUDO🕺🏼🕺🏼🕺🏼🕺🏼🕺🏼🕺🏼🎼🎼🎼🎼🇨🇴🇨🇴🇨🇴
She is the First Latina Queen, imo. Lisa Lisa was everything! Lost In Emotion, All Cried Out! I almost forgot Let the Beat Him 'Em, a 90's jam! You should react to them!
And Head To Toe
Yesss!!! I was just about to say Lost in Emotions!!! That was my jam. All cried out too
Yes Yes Yes...All Cried Out. I had the biggest crush on her back in the 80s.
Lisa Lisa's solo albums/singles are not as mainstream but I enjoy them nonetheless.
Her solo albums not so much, but Lisa Lisa and Cult Jam were very much mainstream. It may not have flowed in the Whitestream, but Urban and R&B stream flowed full with their songs.
The song was recorded in 1984, released May 10, 1985. (2 weeks before I turned 18)
It reached No. 1 on the Billboard Hot Dance Club Play chart for one week in June 1985. On other US charts, it peaked at No. 6 on the R&B chart and reached No. 34 on the Hot 100. In 1991, the single was certified as gold in the U.S. by the RIAA.
Wow, this song was released on my 11th birthday! 🎂 I remember my uncle playing this song throughout the summer in his 1981 Toyota MR2...Great memories!
I was 8 when this came out and I remember my older cousins listening to Lisa Lisa and ult Jam and other freestyle music.
I thought the song was out in 1985 because I had just finished my first year in college. Parties was on bump when this came on. Good memories. 😁🔥
Man Lisa Lisa was a BADDIE back in the day!!!!
She still a BADDIE! #WHATCHUTALKINBOUTWILLIS
Still is.
Welcome to the world of Freestyle music. Lisa Lisa & Cult Jam, Stevie B , TKA, Judy Torres, Noel, Lisette Melendez and more ruled this genre back in the day. This is what was heard in the streets and in the clubs. Enjoy the ride 🔥🔥🔥
Best music eva!
Lisa Lisa is touring with the Freestyle Explosion music tour this summer! A must see if you love freestyle
And if you were underage, in the skating rinks.
@@scabbedwings6548 I remember going to see TKA at 10/18 (18th st & 10th Ave) rink back in the day. We weren’t skating or underage just there for TKA, that was when they first started out🔥
Have you forgotten Trinere? The Queen of freestyle!😎🇧🇷👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻💃💃💃💃💃💃💃💃💃
Lisa Lisa was only sixteen when this was released, people forget how young she was when this album hit!!!
This is called "freestyle" which is a Latin influenced pop dance sound. Lisa Lisa & Cult Jam - along with the group Expose - were the leading progenitors of the sound in the 1980s. It lasted about 6 years or so, give or take. All of Lisa Lisa & Cult Jam's stuff was written and produced by Full Force, best known as the bullies in the original House Party movie. Incredible musicians.
Here are the best Lisa Lisa songs to react to
Head to Toe
Lost in Emotion
Playing With Fire
A Face in the Crowd
All Cried Out
Can You Feel The Beat
Someone to Love Me For Me
Get into Expose too
Point of No Return
Let Me Be The One
What You Don't Know
Come Go With Me
Yes this is another great throw back banger 🔥🔥🔥. Shawny Please react to " ALL CRIED OUT " by Lisa Lisa ...Please react to " I NEED SOMEONE TO LOVE ME FOR ME " by Lisa Lisa .

I loved Lisa Lisa & Cult Jam back then in high school. You have to listen to their two number 1 hits "head to toe" and "lost in emotion" also "can you feel the beat" that song just epitomizes the 80s for me lol.
You need to check out Lisa Lisa's " Let the beat hit 'em" with C & C Music Factory, in fact C & C Music Factory is worth checking out as well, they had some hits, most popular "Gonna make u sweat"!
Never heard this before but this is really something ! Your facial expression shawny 😂 love your channel

Man... I didn't know you were hitting up Lisa Lisa... This is the jam... your're right about it being 80s... 1985
Full Force was the big muscular dudes behind her playing the instruments…they also produced this track.
This was the jam back then. Lisa Lisa is a Puerto Rican girl from the Bronx.

The LEGENDARY Ms Lisa Lisa and her Cult jam
Shawny's dancing made me giggle the whole video. He would have fit right in with the parties in the 80's.
Lol definitely😂
Yessss!!! Thank you for this one👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾You're definitely one of the best reactors here on RUclips. You're almost at 20k. You're doing something right💯

The summer of 1985, I was 17, ran away from home on the east coast to California, got a job and a place, started going out to the clubs, this song was in heavy rotation, god it brings back such memories, dancing until the club closed, this song got everyone out on the dance floor

This was a club banger first then it hit radio…still 🔥
The Genius of the LEGENDARY Iconic Full Force
The sequel to this song is Can You Feel the Beat
I love this song! This beat is definitely next level. Lisa Lisa is so talented. She has some great songs including Lost in Emotion, Head to Toe and Can you feel the beat.
Some other songs I think you'd enjoy are (just to name a few):
•Debarge "Rythem Of The Night"
•Jermain Stewart "We don't have to take our clothes off"
•Ollie & Jerry "There's no stopping us"
•Chaka Khan "Ain't Nobody"
•The Deele "Two Occasions"
•The Whispers "Rock Steady"
•Deniece Williams "Let's hear it for the boy"...
Great list💯
also She played the mother on Nickelodeon's TV series "Taina". i remembered seeing her thinking LISA LISA!
Lisa is so talented and beautiful
Lisa Alex mike and the guys of full force gave us classics
Summer of 85 to answer your question. I was 12 back then living in the Bronx and let me say folks were going crazy blasting this joint in their cars, boom boxes, sound systems. It was 🔥🔥🔥
Lisa Lisa and Cult Jam was so fire back in the 80s. I cut my hair just like her back then too...that swoop bang! Lol
Lisa Lisa Yes!! Check out All Cried Out and Head to Toe!!
Love this song..it also ft full force great group also. Full force was the bullies in the movie house party.
She was my crush, back in the day! That 's what we called breakdance battle music!
This was one of my vibes growing up in NYC, Really love Lisa Lisa And The Cult Jam!
You so cute reacting to this song.🤗 Good to see that you can rock to the songs from back then the same way we rocked to them when they came out😎
Yes young grasshopper... Lisa Lisa and Cult Jam back then was the Jam! You need to react to another single by Lisa Lisa "all cried out". It is a ballad that was remade later in the 90's by Allure feat 112.
Shawny TV This song is a classic. Full Force was another power house of the 80's- 90's as song writers/producers/recording artist & they had hits of there own + made music for other recording Artists also. They put together the group Lisa Lisa & Cult Jam & The group U.T.F.O. that started out as a R&B group & turn into a hip hop group & they also had success there too, but they were hard core/dirty. Check out the song If you don't wanna get pregent. Warning it dirty but deep/funny. This triple threat crew delivered hits, check them out enjoy. Full Force & Pee Wee of U.T.F.O. were in the rap artist Kid n' Play's movie called House Party 1 & 2. They Played the bullies in the move that want to kick Kids ass. Pee Wee was the bully with the messed up voice but he was so funny in it. A comedy/house party classic movie. Many great artists of the 80' appeared in the movies pt. 1&2 even George Clinton had a cameo in pt.1. He played the d.j. in the back yard grown folks party. Shawny TV keep up the good work.
Yo fam, your facial emotions and the way you vibe to the songs is BEYOND PRICELESS !!!!Yo im a firm believer that all of you reactors are definitely OLD SOULS IN NEW BODIES....DOPE SH**T!!! KEEP IT COMING FAMILY!!!!
Yeah, came out in 85. Right in the middle of high school for me. Those were great times.
I meet her at my job she is the sweetest person and lady . She is about her fans trust me great lady. And still as pretty 🤩
Look here , look at here, what have done!!!! This my girl from the beginning to forever!!! Don't stop here. Check out,: Iam all cried out. Late 80s.
One of my all time favs. It was a BANGER then and is a banger now!
My girl!!! I believe it was 85 along with “ Can You Feel The Beat”. This one and “Let the Beat Hit’em” was my dance joint back in the 90’s.
Check out more Full Force, including they're 'Look who's coming to the crib' album. No disappointed.
Written and produced by Full Force
A classic bop! 🔥💃
True classic!!! Been jammin to this song since I was 5yrs old! 🥰 Enjoying binge watching ur vids! 💞
Hi Shawny, You should check out, 'Rochelle - Magic Man (Samurai Mix)', 'Full Circle - Working Up a Sweat', and 'Nu Shooz - I Can't Wait (Long Dutch Mix)'.
If you were young guy back when this came out there was no one hotter than Lisa Lisa. There where close seconds but she was tops. Also most people don’t realize how influential Full Force is in the music industry. They produced songs for individual singers, music groups and even rappers. They made a lot of songs for the ‘00 boy bands.
Full Force on background vocals(the guys behind her singing and the bullies from the movie House Party). They produced some major hits from pop stars, like Vackstreet Boys and Selena. Gotta check them out w/Lisa Lisa on 'All Cried Out'!
Next request: "Lost in Emotions" and "Head to Toe" by Lisa Lisa and Cult Jam!!
Lots of hits. Full Force behind her
You could hear this song in every corner of NYC when it came out
Yo. I had the biggest crush on this lady!! Check out her singing Head To Toe. And the group doing background is Full Force. Check out their hit Ain't My Type Of Hype!!
We used to house dance to this song. My sister will get right up the minute I put it on
If you watched the House Party movies, you should recognize the big dudes singing background. Yes they are 3 brothers from Full Force and they were singers and producers as well as actors. They have some decent music also.
How great to see someone react to Lisa Lisa for the first time!! I loved loved loved her. Freestyle was my thing in college, 1985-1989, and Lisa Lisa was a big part of it! You have to check out "Head To Toe" and "Lost In Emotion". This is truly an amazing song!! The beats are killer!!!! :P
I was so little when this song came out! I love their other song, “ Let the Beat Hit ‘Em’- my jam!
It’s from the 80 , it the best! From New York
The outfits back then was so crazy 🤪. We were cool
1st time seeing your channel. Appreciate u taking the time to rock with 80s music. I cannot believe I never looked for the video growing up. I bet lots of babies were conceived with this hit. :)
This was all happening before the Latin Invasion would take over a while later. Before all that Lisa Lisa and Cult Jam was the thing and started if off. I was a teenager then back in the '80's. Thanks so much. Shawny TV, hadn't heard from you in a while. Hope all is well.🙏🤩
Love Lisa Lisa, you should definitely do there song let the beat hit em. One of my favorites
Lisa Lisa Can You Feel The Beat
Wow this takes me back to kindergarten in the 80s ❤
Lisa Lisa 🇵🇷👑🔥
Took less than 5 seconds for us to get the Shawny shoulder bop lol. This song will always be a banger! 🔥🔥🔥🔥
😂😂 we had full dance routines to Lisa Lisa
I think she was only 15 in this video. THIS WAS THE JAAAAAMMMM!!!😍😍😍😍
All Cried Out “Lisa Lisa
Great group. Listen to "All cried out" and "lost in emotiom". From the 80's. A greast power group. 80' has the besdt music.
This was definitely 80’s! Good ear man!
As a kid, I was too busy dancing to pay attention to the message. Born in 1967, Lisa was only 18 when this song was released, talking about she wonders if he's gonna still respect her after they have sex? Same message as the 60's hit Shirelles' "Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow?" (Nope! What teen boy does?!).
QUEEN 👑👑👑
How we break-danced to this one!!
have not heard this in ages
You see full force in the background. Remember House Party. Produced by them. 1985
Junior Mafia and Aaliyah did a flip of this "I need you tonight"
