This is actually easy I'm the only non Chinese person at my job and I really want to speak to my coworkers because they don't know English. I think its only easy to learn something when you really are interested in learning it!
I've been dabbling in Mandarin for a bit. I can honestly say I knew some of those sentences on the first go and for that I am ecstatic. My passion has been rekindled. I definitely want to learn more.
Thank you very kindly Emma for taking the time to explain how to speak and pronounce Chinese correctly or in other words Maderin dialect corectly. Thanks!
I’m so excited to study Chinese and I will follow your teaching and hopefully one day I will able to understand more then what I knew now. Thank you so much
Thank you, for the privilege of learning Chinese. Sometimes I have issues trying to sound out certain words written in English, that are Chinese. Even in English. Especially a dictionary. They will define the word. And illustrates how it sounds with phonetics. One more question. Can we eventually learn how to write in Chinese too? Thanks for everything. And God Bless you.
tks you so much, lao shi :) yours course very easily to understand with me. I see your clip and read book to know how write the new words in these. very heilpful.

Hi, Your lessons are great. Just one minor point on English grammar: There is actually no such word (or contraction) as "there're". The only other word that sounds like it is "they're", a legitimate contraction for "they are". But "there are" has no contraction as in "there're". "There are" must be articulated as "there are". Cheers, 谢 谢 and 再 见! Hope my Chinese characters are the right ones! Fred
In Korean, America is 미국 (miguk) with the "mi" coming from the Chinese character meaning beautiful and I found it interesting that the Chinese word for American was so similar!
