Someone is spelling Mahdi's name correctly. Many spell it _Medhi._ I guess the way he spells it as Mehdi confuses folks.

I, too, liked that interview he gave to the Israeli spokesperson; but just because I liked that interview doesn't mean the guy is a "journalist." It just means he was a journalist on that day.
What's in his past is quite ugly.
And I'm always the sort of guy who opposes people digging up someone's deep past to have them banned or "canceled," but if that's the game people want to play, then it should be a game played for everyone, not just those they cherry pick for cancellation.

I watched with dismay as Lawrence O'Donnell & Rachel Maddow reverted to All-Trump-All-The-Time as if the destruction & death in Gaza wasn't even happening.
Joy Reid is the only prime-time journalist at MSNBC with the courage to continue covering Gaza. Joy has earned my respect & loyalty. As Mehdi has.

Yes, there is a craving for unbiased news coverage. I hope Mehdi sticks to his vision and doesn't sell out like most do. His record is encouraging for voicing his own opinions and sticking to them. He also talked about how he viewed anyone who didn't adhere to his strict orthodox religious codes as "dog lovers," like that's a bad thing, and "homosexuals," like that's a bad thing, and equated them to "pedophiles," "drunkards," "tyrants," and "sexual deviants who sleep with their own mother."

I've been noticing that MSNBC wasn't reporting on Gaza. I kept checking back, thinking i might have just missed the reporting. But there was nothing. I deleted MSNBC and I'm now watching Zeteo to stay informed. Thank you, Medhi Hasan.
