Not a fan of the aqueon brand lids. The white material in the hinge deteriorated less than a year use. With the gap that is left on the 20l/29g I solved with a wider plastic piece in the back from a 75g lid.
Thanks for the info. I also looked into replacement hinges but didn’t find anything at a reasonable price. I think with my HMF outlets right under the hinge it’s easy to get those ruined quicker too so perhaps next time I change out my filter mat I will cut the opening off to the side so the outlet will be further away from the hinge. And let’s see how long this Tipfin 1 will last me. I didn’t bother to cover up the 4 holes for now.
