There are so many cable terms, which all seem so alike, it can even be difficult with some patterns using different abbreviations for the same things sometimes! So glad you found the answer you needed in the end. :D Happy knitting 🧶
Awe been so chocka lately that I've not had time for my knitting. Still haven't ever tried any cables. Can't wait to one day when my mind is in the right place. Great video Hannah 🌞
Just seen this very helpful thank u but my pattern is asking for T3F and T3B on one row and then C4B next but one row what is the point of doing both if they both move stitches around why not stick to just one or the other thank you for your advice
I imagine the c4b is when the twists meet each other in the middle and the single cable crosses them over. If you’re in the membership, you can send images of the pattern and your knitting and I’ll be able to tell with more accuracy. Happy knitting 🧶
It may take some practice to make sure the yarn is tighter as you make the stitches. It will also depend on the type of yarn you're using - thickness and fibre. Some will hold the stitches together, others will create more obvious gaps, but they will even out over time. Happy knitting 🧶
Thank you Hannah, your videos so helpful and clear to follow 💜
So glad this was helpful! Happy knitting! 🧶
Thank you sooo much for explaining the difference between cabled and twisted stitches! I tried to read and understand a pattern since days 😂

I did t3b myself...I have holes. Watched your video. I did it right. But I still have holes.
