Hello Brian. Same great thing happened to me with my t100. Love the bikes that don't have to yell what they are capable of. Because that secret is specially reserved to it's owner.

Youre so right. I have an SV 650 for 8 years. I was debating between a Z900RS and t120 for almost a year and finally pulled the trigger on the T120 as i got a deal i couldn't refuse. I feel so much more confident on my SV now. Like im on a BMX bike. I appreciate the cornering im able to do with it. I love the Bonnie. I come back to it with confidence, feel like im sitting on a throne when i ride it.
Im so glad to have found your channel, you habe both bikes i fancy and love. The Z is still somewhere in the back of my mind. I do want to own it someday as well :)

20K miles on my T120. It’s not been altered but for adding a Madstadt windscreen and a one-off panier on the right side, and Clearwater driving lights. Oh - and the Triumph Comfort Seat, which was needed and does a really nice job. I’ve done 600 mile days on it.
I have a Garmin Zumo I glance at for my MPH. If I’m cruising down the highway I find I’m doing 87. Every time. It feels fine at lower speeds and higher speeds, but without intent and letting it find its sweet spot, it’s always 87. Getting 42 mpg, and I’m wringing it out every ride. Regular, 87 octane fuel.
Every video Ive watched on RUclips reviewing the T120, I see riders a gear or two too high, riding around under 3K RPM.
I like keeping the RPMs over 3K, and have no issues with more revs. Ride the Engine. Excellent gearbox by the way. I was tempted to play with gearing and sprocket changes, but she’s absolutely perfect for flatland riding here in SE Texas. I wouldn’t change a thing..
This is the genuine Gentleman’s Sport Bike.

Professor, Y t is emphasizing shorts. Try making 30 second videos to get onYt good side.

I advise you to try the Speed Master for more than a day. At different paces, let her glide you thought the wind and imagination. You'll discover that is like owning two bikes in one and that she's is a different Bonneville.
It took more than one thousand miles riding mine to really enjoy her sweetness and strong capabilities. Recently I took off the catalytic converted and placed an X Pipe instead.
The ride feeling is first class, although some guys complain about the suspension, is beautiful to look at and sounds old school.
But you better test both and then is on you.
