BEEKEEPING - EASY Way to Build POLLEN Feeders for LESS THAN $10

- I decided to build some pollen supplement feeders for my bees. After checking out another RUclips video this is what I came up with. It was easy and cheap and probably took less than 5 minutes! All you need is some 4” pvc pipe (the thin cheap stuff). A cap and a downspout attachment. The pvc pipe cost 13.03 for a 10 foot section but you should be able to get seven 16” sections out of it. The downspout was about 2.98 and cap was 2.48. Check it out!
ENJOY!!!

Thanks for the video Bruce! Earlier today I was thinking about making a couple of these feeders, like you I have seen them before but had no idea how much it would cost to assemble them but now thanks to you I know. I hope the Dadant product works good for your bees. It’s always good to see a video from a home grown Bama boy! RTR!!
Hey thanks for checking in and Roll Tide!!!
I suggest adding a protection board from the metal on the bark, it's protection for the tree! :)
Glad your back. Thanks for the video. Looking forward to hearing about your plans for the spring. folks up north talk about all the honey they need to keep bees alive but at least their bees stay at home. Every warm up my bees are out looking for work to do and end up trying to rob or just burn up calories depleting stores. Oh well, it's always something.
Yes it is good to be back too. Gonna continue to do videos but probably not at the same frequency as before. As you say. It is always something with bees! Hopefully can get them through the winter successfully and maybe grow more in 2020! Tell will tell...
Great ingenuity Bruce! Hope it worked out. Did see a video that should results. Keep up the great work in caring for our awesome Bees. Such Amazing creatures
After using these feeders for awhile now they seem to work well. I actually found that bungee cords work better for attaching them to objects though.
Thank you. This is helpful.
You’re welcome. Thanks for watching!!!
Thanks so much!
You’re welcome and thanks to you too.
Good that works
Yes it works well. Thanks.
Video request...when things slow down this winter, how about a "build" video of the nuc boxes you use with the reversable top lid and bottom board. Enjoy the videos, great information. Have a happy Thanksgiving.
Yes I need to do that. Will definitely keep that in mind. Thanks!
Did you put and powder on the entrance board for the bees to get a taste of their new food?
I did not but that is a good idea. Thanks!!!
