We both pass through this pretty little village occasionally and this place has a real sense of community and the wider area itself is also worth exploring.
Beautiful! You gave a very thoughtful tour. I am new to your channel and glad I watched. I was born in New York and am very touched by the 9 1 1 tribute. It showed me how far reaching the trade was and compassionate people are even so far away.
HI, Thankyou for your brilliant videos. We are looking at moving from Australia to Scotland and you have been able to give us some great visuals of places that appeal to us. We look forward to more. Our focus is on the Scottish Borders.
Aww what a charming town. I would love to go back and see it in the spring, with full green trees, green lawns and the window boxes fully in bloom! I love window boxes and this town has so many. Please return when everything is full of life. Love too, how the buildings were made of different materials and all the different color variances. I had a tear when seeing the tree planted by the local firemen tributing the 911 firefighters. Bless :)
My ancestors were from Scotland we were told three Linton brothers went to Jamaica and see their royal oats , and I am a product of them I am fromJamaica I now live in USA, but I was always curious about the Linton name which I inherited from my father who told us all the history about the name Linton , it’s good to see a Town named after the Linton’s
It's unclear to me why this would be voted the prettiest town in Scotland. All I see are rows of Victorian terraced brick houses. The square is not spectacular in any way either.

Gorgeous! Great walkthrough! I am curious as to why we don’t read The Sun? I’m in the states so don’t have any background on it.

Shame you didn't include Preston Mill and Phantasie Doocot, probably Easf Linton's main visitor attractions.
Definitely going to do those in summer Andy when I'm back for a more indepth look around!
And maybe the Linn Rocks? Prestonkirk Church?
Thanks for your sharing 💕
My late father lived there from 1946 to Jan 4th 1964 (leaving exactly 4 months before the old station closed)🎩
Lovely place
You was right it is a pretty little village and unspoiled as well . Thank you and keep on walking 👍👍🚶🏻♂️🚶🏻♂️
Thank you, I will

Another great & fantastic video of EAST LINTON SCOTLAND | Scotland's Prettiest Town?.✔✔✔✔✔✔✔✔✔✔
Many thanks!
Indeed, it is a pretty town. May I say also that your videos are looking and sounding more professional all the time.
Thank you Don! I’m trying to get better so that’s appreciated!
Please check out Killin if you haven't. I don't think East Linton is even close to the Perthshire town.
Great walk as always, have you visited/ filmed Tobermory?
No but now you've mentioned it I've looked it up and definitely going to! Thank you so much!
Beautiful wee village😍
Aye!!
OMG what a gorgeous place loved the music too : )
Thank you ❤️
Best little community in Scotland
Lovely place
Love your scotland videos😀 more places i would like ti see there is Crail and Melrose and Kelso and maybe Kincardine😀
Thanks for the idea!
I've filmed Kelso that's on the way soon
Will add the others to my list for my next trip over the border!
Looks like a fairly nice village nice to see the old buildings and not been spoilt by new builds
So true
Unfortunately now east Linton boasts quite a lot of new builds, hardly a village anymore..
My dad worked here many moons ago at new houses being built
NOT ENJOYING ALL THE TRAFFIC BUT THANKS FOR YOUR POST
Sorry to hear that
Longniddry village next
The shaky writing is annoying. Apart from that, very good video
Shaky writing?
@@GimbalWalkTV the written description on each slide
I live here
Top stuff - lovely little town!
@@GimbalWalkTV yes!
“30 minutes from the coast”?! It’s only a 10 minute drive from Dunbar FFS…😅
30 minute drive to the coast? You could walk it in less! 10 minute drive to beautiful Belhaven bay
Oh didn’t know this! Am going to visit there in a few weeks so will nip and have a look! Thank you Jane!
Shame all the new house building is ruining it, as with other places in East Lothian.

This is where my story is set. I dream of travelling there one day.📃😍
Why thank you
