I have collected some ginko fruit last fall and now the seeds are sprouting in May. Looking forward to sharing the seedlings.
I love Gingkos. Just planted one in my new house. You should do one on other favorites of mine - Metasequoia and Franklinia
Love it
What is the tree over your shoulder, behind you?
Omg I work as a maintenance tech. We have o e of these trees on our property. When that fruit falls in the fall. The smell is unbearable. I want this tree removed so badly. Send it back to china “lol say it like trump” respectfully
Its a female and that's why it's stinky fruit. But if you do a male, no fruit
Do you have a Chinese community? They will harvest the fruit, as the nut is roasted and eaten. Or harvest them yourself. Wear gloves when stripping off the flesh---the skin has the same irritating oil as poison ivy.
