Hello everyone! One more boss run from me. We already have all boss fights from arcade version but we never did SNES one. Well, here it is. Mostly, these bosses are easier when compared to arcade difficulty but Muramasa is somewhat more annoying here. No additional challenges here besides taking no damage (using desperation move counts as taking a hit). Enjoy.
I enjoyed so much this game when I was little... It's amazing to see it complete, and to remember the fact that most of the armour and weapons are incredibly well designed from a historical standpoint, curiously enough, considering it's such an old game.
Me, my sister and my brother always taking turns to challenge this game. Never made it beyond Phantom after the Iron Golem, and that is to say the only time we made it there. My sister had like two hits left in her.
Used to love to play this game as a kid, but being young and not knowing you could even parry until I watched this video I never finished it. Looking back on it now, it seems a lot like a sort of proto-dark souls, another game I ended up loving.
Scorn. They scorn the player during the entire fight, even if they get knocked down right after. They stand up and walk a few steps even after the stage clear screen, to scorn death itself. Such a badass.
It's harder to get through the game with Perceval because of his limited reach and his jump attack can only be used on enemies on the ground. Lancelot is the easiest.
@@JuntosXlaLibertadMileyBuIIrich More people have steam than mame, and I try to pay for content I like to encourage the creation of more similar content.
@AT Productions Well, this game is a take on the founding of Camelot. Mordred was born AFTER Arthur became king. Remember that in many versions, Arthur was a teenager when he was crowned. Also, depending on the version of the tale, Mordred is either Arthur's illegitimate son with Morgan Le Fay or his nephew (being the son of Morgan Le Fay and King Lot), and Morgan Ley Fay is often depicted as Arthur's half-sister (their mother was Igraine; Morgan's father was the Duke of Cornwall while Arthur's was King Uther Pendragon).
Also, generally when Arthur confronts Mordred, Arthur is generally depicted as being much older if not in his twilight years while Mordred is a young adult.
@AT Productions It doesn't mention how much time passes. Also, we don't really see Arthur "mature" as much as his equipment (and possibly his skills) improve. Yes, I've watched Excalibur, but I don't see where they figure into this. Also, Arthur doesn't get mortally wounded and go to Avalon like the end of said film.
@@edwardgaines6561 Agreed, because little to no contact was made between Japan and Europe. In fact, Japan didn't have contact with Europe until Portuguese merchants made landfall on the island in 1453, and by that time, the Middle Ages were all but over, which would end in 1500.
@@edwardgaines6561 if you want a remake of Knights of the Round, you should try playing the fanmade beat em up sequels of the arcade game i made on the openbor engine called Knights of the Round Revenge and Annihilation. I highly recommend it. ;)

As you know, Muramasa's title got altered Bloody Armor to Dark Armor.
Boss master. Respect 👍👍👍🙌🙌🙌👏👏👏
thank you arek!

A million thanks for the information! I'll have to do some research.
Boss list:
00:00 01 Scorn
00:58 02 Braford
02:19 03 Arlon
04:56 04 Phantom
06:16 05 Balbars
07:19 06 Muramasa
09:53 07 Iron Golem, Phantom
12:13 Final Boss - Garibaldi
15:15 Ending
the seventh boss has the same name as a Minecraft mob
Arlon is easy garibaldi
The Golem isnt even protecting villagers, that is not an Iron Golem, thats a piece of scrap
@@aayushpal3135 uh what about the part that says phantom
@@mechzilla569 Thats not an Iron Golem, thats a piece of scrap piloted by an assassin
Balbars is my favorite. I just love his demonic skull armor that makes him look like Lucifer from Ghosts n Goblins.
I finished this game with all 3 characters as a youngster! Hugely fun game. Percival was my favourite because his later 'evolutions' gave him an axe.
A "Golden Axe" mind you.
@@edwardgaines6561 More SEGA memes.
I'd like to pretend this is what Kentaro Miura's _Berserk_ would look like as a beat 'em up. Too bad nobody had the guts to make it.
*HO, EXCALIBUR!*
Berserk beat 'em up would be an epic idea.
Hey, "the guts". Good one.
@@KwadDamyj 😅 Yup!
@AT Productions Well, that and _DevilMan_ & _HellRaiser!_ 😱
I always used to get this game and King of Dragons mixed up; the two would make a good medieval-themed beat-em-up double feature.
Yeah Capcom were goin cray with theme at the time.
Pierwolf has done just that, with elements from Warriors of Fate and the D&D games for good measure.
One of my favorites
Nobody:
Balbars: Lemme just jump on you. *Gets denied*
I like Scorn boss theme music combine with him.
Very good port. In contrary to Final Fight they did the right compromises in this one.
Damn the boss in the thumbnail be wearing the infinity gauntlet

I can't remember the number of times I've finished this game. I find it hard yet rewarding. 😁

I know this game thanks to Capcom's Classics Collection on PSP, I never knew that they had made an SNES port of this awesome game
Balbars prob the first boss who ever use T-pose as a battle stand to fight the main charater
Final Boss Garibaldi, the name reminds me of a Mexican pop group, its awesome!!
First boss like " think you killed me? Ima get you... You know what on second thought I'm getting kinda tired, I sleep now"
00:00 Fat knight
00:58 Sword master
02:19 Riboff the recolor
04:56 Mall ninja
06:16 Guy with a hammer
07:19 Neckbeard
09:53 False knight
12:13 TEH KING
Theres one thing ive never understand why in a medieval english knight game appears a samurai as boss?
Back then, nobody asked why put things in a game, only why not.
got this on the switch on a capcom arcade compilation its good
Never played this one, it looks great! I missed out for sure.
Scorn.

What's with the sword swing? Goes forward, swings back and hits forward. Does the first swing even hit? Or just the last one?
That's a heavy swing. He swings it around before bringing it down.
One of best games ever
One of my childhood.
Every time i play i forget everything is parriable here...
Even that big-ass hammer from Balbars? 😳
Hey! This is much better than the Arcade cuz here the HP *DIDN'T DRAINED* Everytime you cast a Special Attack
Special attack reduces HP in this version too.
@@ArekTheDragon why his hp havent got reduce?

Because I didn't use special attack.
The special attack is kind of an emergency only thing.. I try to never use it
What happens if the Crown bar fills all the way up?
Level up.
Very nice.
Nice vídeo
Look good on SNES.
Great game . The only bad was you cant create a paradox ,making king lance or percival
The music takes a hit too on the SNES. Sounds very muffled.

@Mike Driggs no. I just charge then attack. I don't know about special moves but I only used basic attack.

Garibaldi? But what about Morgana or that Demon King from Ghouls n Ghosts n Goblins? Firebrand????
so this game realy is very very good i advice clearly to makle the two version on arcade and on snes really
Wow this game is so awesome to play were do I find it🤔
The arcane version is on steam if that's any help (part of the Capcom beat-em-up bundle or whatever it's called)

A shame the final boss is merely a palette swap of the third boss. So cheap. :(
