I just went over 80k on my 2020 AT4 with the "Mini Max" and love it. Never been back to the dealership for anything. I do 5k oil changes and just replaced all the diff and transfer case fluids. Literally been all over the US with it and it's a very nice ride for a truck.
i've heard good things about these little duramaxes. their gassers are another story. i have a 6.2 yukon that spun a lifter at 118k miles, meticulously maintained since i bought it new. i was gonna trad eup and get into one of these but after 6.5k, the AFM is deleted and should last for years to come. hopefully the trash 8 speed will hold up lol

You will come to like how quiet it is. Age is wise.
I agree that the 3.0 is a great engine and I’ll probably get it again but for now the V8 is a dying breed so I’m gonna pick one up while I still can.
@@Bucky_BB yeah and these now are not even true v8’s. All of them now come dfm. Main cause for lifter issues.

You’re definitely right about the build quality being better than a Mercedes. A lot of squeaking going on with Mercedes.
You don’t buy that engine for the sound.
6.2 is dumb and the fuel they recommend is 91 for that. Which is more expensive than diesel.
This is every GM owner-"its great I love it no real problems except..."
Would not buy at all
