Loved your Broadway at the Beach video. I really do hope someday I can make it back there again. I am in shock they closed down the Kwik E Mart. It was always cool checking it out when I was in Myrtle Beach at times.

Are the new Key west shops where the Dragon’s Lair Golf used to be. I loved that castle. Sad to see it go. When my kids were young they would love when the fire would shoot out.
Actually the now closed Simpsons 4D theater is mostly where Dragon's Lair was. We miss it too! The Key West shops are where the movie theater, the magic wand attraction (forgot the name) and the Pavilion rides were located.
Took my grandsons to Wonderworks last summer and they want to go again this year. 😊 btw do they still have a fireworks night? Looking forward to visit BATB when we’re there at the end of June.
Yes they do have fireworks on certain evenings. They list them on their website. It's definitely a fun place to visit!😊

I hope the Pineapple Hut will be open by the 4th of July, will be there on the 5th.
I would definitely think they will try to be open by then. I was surprised they weren't open by Memorial Day!
Coming down in July...is there any not so expensive place to eat at Broadway on the beach? Or in the nearby area?
Price is relative, but the grumpy monk I think is fairly reasonably priced considering where it's located.
Is the ice cream sandwich place going to be open in Dec or off season?
I believe Broadway at the beach requires their tenants to stay open a certain amount of time year round, but there's no way I can say for sure.
Awww man that stinks that Simpsons closed, coming the week of June 23 and thought the Kwik E Mart looked pretty cool, I know I asked before about shuttle service from hotels to different places, I think it’s called CoastalRTA but do you know if they have service from Holiday Pavilion on the boardwalk to Broadway at the beach

Yeah it sad I never got to see it in person as I wanted. As I saw a Universal Studios Simpsons simulator ride as the attraction of 4 d Aztec theatre probably couldn’t have competed with the simulator ride. As an option I could point out is maybe broadway should make a SpongeBob theme place or Puff the Magic Dragon which be nice as a dragon show replacement.
We were there in May. Just booked our September trip through Airbnb. Our first time booking through any kind of rental app.
Can’t wait to get back down there.
We want to do some sort of adventure activity. Banana boat, parasailing or dolphin cruise.
Any suggestions from fellow beachers?
We did a dolphin tour once. We didn't see any dolphins but we still had a great time. I don't remember the specific company but it was out of Murrells Inlet.
@@CarmenandBrian Thanks for the tip. A lot of people that have taken dolphin tours say the same thing. There weren’t any dolphins! lol But I would enjoy a great boat ride in any case. 😊

As to say Broadway at the Beach seems to be going along as the Beach House store takes a new spot. As for the saddest part the Simpsons Aztec theatre and Kwiky mart seemed nice, but I guess it came to where it can’t beat Universal Studios. Honestly Broadway should relocate Joe’s Crab Shack into one of the old restaurants Key West Grill or Liberty restaurant as where the former Dragon’s Liar show and former Simpsons and Joe’s Crab Shack could be demolished and Broadway can have a new Steven Schussler Puff the Magic Dragon themed restaurant built in that spot as that would add a new dragon show and a Honnoluee adventure. As for the Red Dragon Cove plans to build another golf course they should build a new Puff the magic dragon mini golf course where the palace theatre used to be. Although with that being a third golf course with a new dragon themed fantasy along with the two present golf courses on Broadway Top Golf and Pop Stroke just may add some new additions to Broadway and Myrtle Beach. But Broadway at the beach continuing to do amazing things for what they do. I Can say hopefully I can come and see the fun this amazing place as to offer and see all of Myrtle Beach.

Was just at Myrtle Beach for 3 nights. We stayed at the Holiday Pavilion. It was fine. But there are Very sketchy individuals all around the Boardwalk area and other places near there too. It’s a very depressed area around the entire area near the beach. Homeless people sitting on benches behind hotel area of the Boardwalk. Very Sad. We will most likely never go back. If we do go back , we won’t go anywhere near the Sky-wheel/Boardwalk area. Did not feel safe. Saw the same guy 3 times in less than 30 minutes. Seems like he was watching us. Looked like he was working with another guy. The whole Boardwalk area is “shady.”
Would not recommend to anyone.
That's unfortunate you didn't have a good, safe experience. If you do return you might want to check out Surfside Beach or Garden City Beach just South of Myrtle Beach.
