I generally think concert is a lot better for preforming and more modern music from artists like BoyWithUke, or songs like Looking out For You and Riptide, howevee the soprano can definitely give that classic hawaiian feel to it. both are good for a person's preference!

Personally I like the concert more because i like the deeper tone more and the fact that you aren’t as limited as the soprano with only 12-15 frets

I have a soprano ukulele (specifically the kala color chord) and it's really good for what it costs. It's a $45 instrument, it's made of plastic, comes with some useful accessories, has some of the chords marked on the fretboard to help beginners learn. I got it as a kid and it's served me well for about 5 years now, though I do want to upgrade to a larger uke. Probably a tenor.
