Conondale National Park, Booloumba Falls, Kenilworth & Maleny 4x4 Day Trip

A great daytrip visiting the attractions and sites of Kenilworth, Conondale National Park, Booloumba Falls and Maleny. Starting at Kenilworth we stopped at the Bakery to see what all the hype was about. The doughnuts did not disappoint with countless options to suit every crave and sweet tooth. A short drive north from Kenilworth and we arrived to one of many entrances to Conondale National Park. A quiet section of the park with many different trails and tracks to tackle and test the old girl. Was a lot of fun and powered through with no problems. We were stopped in our tracks by a very steep climb with massive ruts and big steps - a bit too extreme and unsafe (surely would have broken gear). So we back tracked and found an alternative trail to reach Booloumba Falls for a dip. The walk to the falls was a short 1.5kms, everything was so lush and green with plenty of wildlife around. The falls weren’t running - only a trickle, but was cool and refreshing after a hard day wheeling. With time getting ahead of us, we stopped at Maleny Dairies for afternoon tea to end off an awesome day.
