I visited Paris for the first time this year and it literally changed me as a human being (even though, or perhaps especially because, I ran a school trip and took some of my favorite students with me). We did 4 countries in 8 days and while I was looking forward to Paria the least (I'm not sure why) I feel like it awoke something in me that I didn't know was there -- such a magical place! (Waking up to the smell of fresh croissants every morning didn't hurt either!)
