Mihawk literally followed some random pirate back to the East Blue out of boredom. Saying he is "Suffering From Success" is a bit of an understatement.
Mihawk going all out is one of the top five things I look forward to in One Piece. Really hope we see the aftermath of the Navy trying to capture him in between Act 3 and 4.
given that he's known for his incredible vision and is the greatest swordsman i could see him being the first guy we see with both forms of advanced observation and armament haki.
I feel like Mihawk is more like Vlad Tepes rather than Dracula; Vlad Tepes was feared, lived in a massive intimidating castle, was seen as a hero by those who knew him, the religious undertones, Hawks/Falcons was a common war birds in that era, etc. Vlad was feared in battle, Dracula in most stories was more of an ambusher rather than actively going to war. Edit: Dracul was also the epithet of Vlad's father.

I believe that logically speaking with all the information(databooks, manga, sps) we currently have, anyone should be able to see that Mihawk is probably THE STRONGEST in the ENTIRE VERSE right now. Most likely having even surpassed the likes of prime Roger. Note that I said with our CURRENT INFORMATION. Of course anything might be subject to change here but if you wanna argue my point, argue using actual evidence from the series please. I don't wanna have Shanks fanboys crying that the Yonko somehow mean they HAVE TO be the strongest 4 pirates lol.

Most likely, forging a permanent black blade is a very big deal in op verse since it's so rare. Not even shanks and roger possess the black blade. Other than swordsmanship the black blade must be main reason why mihawk hold the world's strongest swordsman title. Zoro is already shown to have CoC. The next step for him to reach his goal is to forge a permanent black blade and possess at least one supreme grade blade. Zoro should also learn gentle sword technique. Since mihawk is a master of both strong and gentle sword tech

What kind of totem and hawk in christianity...? Never in my entire life have I heard of the symbolism of the hawk... this sound more like notice American stuff rather than christianity.. maybe it could be there in one or two stories.. but as far as I am concerned.. there is no privelant symbolism of hawks in the word and minded you I have been Christian my entire life.
