Thankyou for taking us along with you..I have never seen this city..and I think I wouldn't smile as much as you do..with the freezing weather....I would have painted from inside the cafe..pressing my face out the window I guess... Yes Film editing...is so time consuming..only those who have actually done this...really appreciate the effort that is visible in your videos :) I have been starting my first architectural watercolor painting...I normally paint surrealistic abstract whimsical floral...but you INSPIRED me and I found a castle to paint that is actual for sale in the north of FRANCE..its only 5 million dollars...maybe your viewers could all pitch together and we could create a center of art :)...dream big right? ..it even has a moat..I know how you like reflections :)

That would be great...:) I love creating with other people and I love your work. So that could be fun. Have you ever been to the Zoo? It is a great place! Antwerp is an interesting city, but to me...somehow...it always seems to busy, noisy, frantic to go out and urban sketch and relax. Though I would love to. I am quite fascinated and horrified by the many (ugly) houses that live next door to each other all screaming for attention (and not always in a good way), never the same, doing their very best to be totally different from their neighbours. The lack of green in this historical city grinds my bones. I want to love this city, I really do, my boyfriend lives there after all, but somehow we have a bit of a problem...Antwerp and me. Maybe I should just get out and paint anyway...:) Just paint is the solution to almost everything...:) Keep up the great work. Curious about your next bookbinding video. Thanks for your reply. Much appreciated.
@Bojoura Stolz: May I suggest going to the Middelheim museumpark, lot's of green, not too crowded & perfect if you like to sketch statues (but there are some buildings too)!

L'effet est vraiment cool!! J'ai découvert ça grâce à Peter Mc Kinnon. Si tu visionnes sa dernière vidéo au sujet d'un drone, tu verras ce que je veux dire. Au delà du contenu de la video (technical review), l'énergie du gars et le travail vidéo font vraiment la différence. 👍 (il sonorise aussi ses actions en direct avec des sons improbables tout droit sortis de sa bouche lol 😅 d'ailleurs il vient de sortir un pack de sons avec ses bruitages vocaux. Fun !!!! Il y a notamment les whoooosh que j'ai utilisés dans ma vidéo. 😉) Pour ce qui est de mes bruits de valise, clés etc., l s'agissait d'une petite touche nordiste mais c'est un détail. 😌
Super sympa à regarder! Est-ce que ta sœur dessine, elle aussi? Et sinon comment fais tu pour ne pas "ennuyer" les non dessinateurs qui se baladent avec toi? Souvent je ne sors pas mon matos quand je suis avec mon homme car je ne veux pas qu'il s'ennuie pendant que moi je dessine (tu sais comme on peut perdre la notion du temps dans ces cas là!) , du coup je prends des photos et je dessine ou peins plus tard (genre le soir à l'hôtel au lieu de regarder la TV).
Bonjour Nadège, merci pour ton commentaire !! Sylvaine dessine épisodiquement mais on ne l'a fait qu'une fois ou 2 ensemble en extérieur. C'est vrai que même si je suis une sketcheuse rapide, c'est délicat de dessiner quand on se balade en famille (il est arrivé, avec mes parents, qu'ils continuent leur balade sur la plage pendant que je faisais une aquarelle mais carrément attendre, ce n'est pas très cool en effet). Du coup, j'ai fait les dessins que je montre dans la vidéo un matin où Sylvaine était occupée. Je les ai répartis dans la vidéo pour alterner les contenus et rendre l'ensemble plus sympa. 😊 ça peut être possible avec vraiment des dessins minute style ligne au crayon, dans une situation ou quelqu'un est dans un magasin, ou profite d'un moment un peu plus longuement. Mais toujours tricky tricky, oui ! De mon côté, cependant, je n'arrive pas vraiment à dessiner d'après photo, ou alors juste une petite bricole pour compléter la page, le jour-même.... 😉
