Reimagining Life On The Road 2022 | Galway Traveller Movement

The Galway Traveller Movement constructed a recreation of the Traveller camps of old to bring awareness to the Traveller community and for the passing of skills from one generation to the next.
This two-week project took place outside of Ballinasloe, Co. Galway and enjoyed huge success. The Galway Traveller Movement is a grantee of the Traveller Wellbeing Initiative and is funded by Creative Ireland, the Arts Council, the HSE, and Healthy Ireland.
The Traveller Wellbeing Through Creativity project exists to promote Traveller health and wellbeing through the delivery of impactful creative arts projects.
