So as a potential Naples buyer when would be the best time to purchase?
Now or wait until the market softens.

That is a great question! Summer is technically "off season" here so pre-pandemic there was more inventory and fewer buyers as many people had gone back North and were not focused on purchasing something while out of town. Last year was very different as inventory continued to tighten up over the summer and buyers stayed in SWFL. Currently, we are starting to see more price decreases now that season has officially ended and have not seen a big drop in the number of homes coming on the market daily. This may mean that our summer will be a little quieter than last year, which could be good for buyers. Because of the amount of new development taking place in Naples, (for example the Naples Beach Hotel purchase, new housing/condo developments, etc.) many local experts believe this area has room for more growth due to demand and they don't anticipate a big softening in our market for the foreseeable future. Sorry for the extremely long-winded answer! I hope that helps. If you have other questions, email or text me and I am happy to answer what I can and help in any way. Have a great week!!
