Hey Brother, it's Christmas. Feel free to take a little time off and spend it with the family and catch up. We can wait a bit for a vid as long as you give us a heads up. Merry Christmas to you and your family.
On that removable magazine, grab the smaller end of it and pull it away from the floor plate. You'll notice that the larger end fits under a tab on the floor plate. Complete opposite when you are attaching the magazine. Put the larger end under that metal tab and then snap the smaller end in place. Thanks for sharing and Merry Christmas to you and yours!!
One of the most genuine creators. Thanks for your help with the drop charts today, friend! Can't wait to seal the deal on a deer in the next couple of weeks and I'll get a vid up!
I’ve got a left hand Browning A-bolt stainless stalker in 338 Win Mag that I bought new in 1992. It has a 26” barrel. I’ve killed a lot of stuff with it. I love it! As always, love all your content!
What I like about the box magazine in the hinge plate is it makes unloading the gun easy. Just drop the plate, work the bolt, put the round back in the mag and close it up. There is no dropping your ammo and reloading or sticking your fingers down in there to depress the next round as you close the bolt.
I have an abolt in 708. The box mag pops off. When u open the floor plate pull it from the top. The bottom is where it latches back on. Browning abolts are awesome. Classic!!
The long time gun guy that I am couldn’t help butt roll my eyes a little buddy about the never seen before box mag on the hinge plate. But I still think you’re the greatest.
There you go I like it that is why you are the king of the hill you not only film you edit your own work I really appreciate everything you do for filming and editing and make sure you're correct information to put out there for us thank you.
Hope you and your family have a merry christmas and happy new year. All us feral cats will be here waiting for the next round of videos to come out. We know where the good entertainment is at...
Just found your garage. I'll have to check it out when I get a sec. I've wrenched on stuff all my life. Going pig/deer catchin' in Glen Rose this weekend. Take care
Brother it's Christmas time take some time for you and your family. It's not what's under the tree it's who is around it. You have given us great content all year. We will always be here. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
I have that same Rifle in 30-06. The Original Magazine is Silver in Color. My Rifle is a 1992 Model. The Bolt Throw is 60 Degrees. The Magazine has a Tab at its Bottom. That Tab helps to Lock the Magazine to the Trapdoor Floorplate. It does not take very much Pressure to Remove the Magazine from the Floorplate. There is the Tab at one End and Spring Tension on the Other End of the Magazine's Floorplate. It is Removed by using a Slight Rocking Motion when you Pull on the Magazine. I believe that the Magazine can also be Loaded from the Top while the Rifle's Trapdoor is Locked in place. I have never Loaded it in that way though. The Butt Plate on mine is just a Thin Plastic Butt Plate that exactly Matches the Black Plastic Rifle Stock. So I am guessing that yours was Modified for that Recoil Pad.
Never apologize for not getting something done to satisfy us. You are human. Although at times I wonder. With all you do put out. Don't get burned out. Merry Christmas to you and your family. May God bless you guys and keep you healthy and safe 🙏
That's an awesome rifle. I've got two of them, first one was back in 1991. to remove the magazine, grip it from the top (close to the hinge) and pull towards the rear. The mags have a tab that sets into the floor plate at the far end of the floor plate.
Love my A-Bolt from the 90s love that magazine too! Just pull in the front and it pops off it rocks in back to front. But I just leave it and load it and shut it! It’s great!
Love your work! Thanks ! Wonder if that Stainless Stalker might have come from the factory with a BOSS tuner / brake? Some got bobbed by the buyer, I think I might have bought a Browning Bar that was originally sold with the BOSS. Cheers & merry Christmas from up north!
The only thing we can never get is more time ,take breaks and don't worry about it, you are definitely the hardest working man on you tube, greatly appreciate your videos
I have an A-bolt stalker in 30-06. Pull the mag from the opposite side that you were trying. Bolt release is on the opposite side from the bolt handle on the receiver. Will be a long button that kind of blends with the receiver.
Hi there and greetings from Denmark. I own a stainless stalker in 300 win mag. Fantastic rifle and my go-to gun for travelling. I’m looking forward to see your review on it. I’ve have a German Steiner scope mounted on it and use a DK made suppressor.
I have a Browning A-Bolt that I bought in 1991. Took about 3 yrs before I learned the box magazine comes out. Just pull on the front of magazine when opened, it's just spring fitted.
Have an A bolt II in 375h&h. The factory recoil pad was hard as a rock when I got it used. I also really like the mag. it functions like a top fed mag for quickly topping up the mag when needed, but easily removable when moving between locations.
First big game rifle I bought back in the 90’s was a browning abolt 2 composite stalker in 7mm rem mag. It’s taken a pile of game from moose to coyotes since then. It sits in the back of the safe now but I think I will dust it off this week. There’s a few handloads I was thinking about trying in it
I have three Marlin MR-7 bolt action rifles (two in 30-06 and one in .270 Winchester) and they have the removable box magazine on a hinged bottom plate just like your Browning. I love the Marlin MR-7. They were only made from 1996 to 2000.
On those rainy days, you should do a video with your kids and your wife and talk to your kids about hunting and their hunting stories and how they feel about hunting
I own several A bolts and A bolt medallions and I can burn a thicket up with my 270 Winn. The 54 degree lift on that bolt you can really let it fly. Great great gun.
Sounds like you need to procure a video editor to allow you to do the creative side and some one to do the nuts and bolts. Just my opinion. I am a car guy also, more than guns so they do kinda go together.
I'm talking to someone about purchasing a 1988 (give or take a year) A-Bolt, cherry(I think) stock and blued barrel in 30-06 but I have no reference on the internet that I can find AT ALL that would put me in a postition to put out an offer that's respectable but obviously somewhat helpful to my end. Everytime I look for a specimen to compare it to its a late 90s early 2000s A-Bolt which isn't the same price range in my opinion, close, but not a price I need to start a barter with.

Hinged magazines are a common magazine on Brownings. To take the magazine off pull from the front .
BAR in 300 WM. Love it!
Back in the late 70's had a 270 Win BAR with that magazine configuration.
YEPPERS!! Pull at the front first, easy down n out, the idea is to change mags asap! A very good magazine as well!!!
Take some time off with your family. Merry Christmas and happy new year to you all.

i had a chance to shoot an A Bolt in 260 Remington many years ago. what a rifle! 1/2" group first 3 shots. amazing rifle.
I have a Browning A-Bolt that I bought in 1991. Took about 3 yrs before I learned the box magazine comes out. Just pull on the front of magazine when opened, it's just spring fitted.

Yes. Browning BAR rifle had the flip down removable magazine. Don’t know if they still have this.
My main hunting rifle is abolt is a a stainless stalker in .30-06 , accurate, taken lots of game with it. I love it.
You the man!!
👊👊
Go get some rest!!
I'd love to buy an A bolt myself! Guess I can't complain I'm buying a Browning Safari MK3 satin walnut after the first of the year.
Merry chirstmas to you
That's a super clean rifle all business needs a good scope 👌
I just put my ruger american in an outlier chassis and love it . Just ordered one for my savage 110 in 450 bush master
Sounds like you need to procure a video editor to allow you to do the creative side and some one to do the nuts and bolts. Just my opinion. I am a car guy also, more than guns so they do kinda go together.
I’ve got a Browning BAR that has the hinge box mag thing. The mag comes off the hinged floor plate. It’s kinda weird.
Have a good Christmas!
60 degree bolt lift. You need that recoil pad!!
The box mag pops off from the front- the locking tabs are on the rear
The older bar have the hinges plate with a box mag.
Your doing fine ! Thank you !
Merry Christmas!

I have a browning from the late 80s early 90s in 7 mag and it has that mag style
Keep your work fun not work it’s about fun with bing bangs thanks wtw❤
They made that box mag so you could carry an extra and swap out an empty with a full one.
To remove the box mag poll on the hinge end of the mag 😊
Box mag like the old browning bar.
I've seen and used many of them!
Take a day or the weekend off from vids. Don’t jeopardize your health for us. Get a good night of sleep.
Sleep doesn't pay the bills
BAR mags are like that too.
That's a nice rifle.
Browning BAR has hinge plate with box mag
