For learning solos this format works well. Sometimes with lessons in this format the biggest challenge for me is trying to decipher the picking. So having the suggested picking in the tab is very helpful. Another great lesson. Thanks heaps Tim.
🤘Great Idea Tim. Not too crazy a solo but still one that takes some skills. not too long, and it's Black Label Society and what guitarist doesn't like Zakk. I'll work on this one just as soon as I have time. I think some shorter solo videos are a great idea

Very cool. I really enjoy watching these solo shorts. You demonstrate how timing and flow is everything. So perfectly played. Interesting being in Dropped C. Looks like pentatonic scale but can't be the same pattern as in std tuning. I should know, but never play in Dropped C. I should because I like the sound. No other way to get that sound.
Thanks very much! It is in fact the pentatonic scale. Dropped C is the same as Dropped D relatively speaking. The only difference is that all of the strings are down a whole step. So Dropped D then everything down another whole step. So the high E to A strings are the same in relation to one another as standard.
