Those neck bones look good. I wasn't raised with them. Good for you having a butcher or good market in your area. I can only buy them in a supermarket and they need a lot of prep before cooking.
@Christine C Thank you. I believe the neck bones were purchased at Walmart, but we do have a few butchers near our small town. I appreciate the comment; God bless you.❤️

What can I substitute for the broth I forgot to buy broth in the market earlier im making neckbones in my crockpot tomorrow and how much liquid to add?
Hello @Aaleyah Sanez. Substitute the broth with water. Since broth is seasoned, add salt as needed. Use between 4-6c of liquid. Neck Bones in the Crockpot Recipe: 4lbs neck bones (beef or pork) 2 pack brown gravy mix 4-6c Vegetable or beef broth 1 onion 1 tbsp Lawry Seasoning Salt 1tbsp Badia Complete Seasoning 1tbsp Soy Sauce 1tbsp garlic powder 1/2 tbsp pepper 1/2 tbsp onion powder 1tsp Accent
@Aaleyah Sanez You may also use beef bouillon cubes, if you have it one hand, as a broth substitute. Thank you for the question and leaving a comment. God bless you.❤️

@Frankie Hinez - Hello Frankie! Excellent question. Depending on your crockpot or slow cooker, 6 hrs on high, or until they are tender. Thanks for the question, have a great day & safe Memorial Day weekend. God bless you.
I've been looking at a lot of different neck bones recipes on RUclips and I wonder why some people don't put onions or green peppers with them. I thought it was pretty much necessary but I guess it's just a personal choice to put whatever you want .
@J Johnson You are correct! My brother & I had this conversation the other day lol He never sears his meat or use veggies; he boils them until they’re tender, so I agree it’s a choice. Thank you for watching the video and leaving a “note worthy” conversation; greatly appreciated. Happy holidays & God bless you.❤️
It’s kinda making me nervous that u dont know that the foil cracks when u open it. But I need to learn how to use the crock pot so I’m going to focus on that.
@IamChassity They currently make crockpot liners; try them on lieu of foil. When mastered, you’ll enjoy your crockpot; there are many time-saving recipes to try. Don’t give up 😀
In reality when we were kids did we really want this meal? But now days I crave this food and actually cook it for me and my family.
We ate whatever my mother cooked @Tee Ramirez…as if we had a choice😂 I’m glad I reintroduced myself to this very missed and yummy dish.
I did 😅 I remember being about 6 or 7 and always asking for soul food, neckbones, greens, pig feet you name it 😂 I preferred it over fast food
Uh I did every chance i could l…
These were AMAZING!!! I added a little flour to it for thicker gravy and MA’AM!!! WOW!!!
@Latisha Nicole Thank you and I’m glad you added more flour to thicken it. Happy New Year and God bless you.❤️
