In my opinion, Spencer always was a hideous character and there's a significant reason why I never forgave him: Cheating on your partner is one thing, bad enough in Spencer's case, but lying so shamelessly in Teddy's face, building up a relationship with both women and fooling them to believe that the other one is his *cousin* makes him a total scumbag and no "character development" could change that.

Raven and Devon's breakup taught us that in life there are some things that we just can't control and Devon's dad remarrying and moving away was one of them. But here's a fun fact for everyone. Raven and Devon maintained a long distance relationship. However, they were allowed to see other ppl but in the end they were each other's #1

Plus Sterling and Demi confirmed that if the show were to continue that they definitely would have ended up together.

They had been through so much to finally be together, and they were both so happy, but then they couldn't be together. They other thing is is that they're basically soulmates. Austin and Ally are partners; through their music and they are best friends. And that's just what made it even sadder! Overall I personally just love them so much as a couple!

The Maya/Zack breakup legit made me angry when it originally happened and, in a way, still does. I actually liked the fact that they had finally given Zack a legit relationship like his brother with Bailey, and then they just tossed it away. Definitely unexpected and, in my opinion, unnecessary. They finally gave Zack some legit and convincing character development that to me was lacking in his character for the longest time. It was almost like they got scared to do it, or at least keep it permanent, which is why I think they got rid of the relationship all together right before the series finale. Like why introduce the relationship in the first place? Makes no sense to me.
The Zaya breakup just made us feel like even the characters themselves were fed up with stupid Disney for making an excuse for them to break up (of course, it’s not because they wanted to, but because they had to. Meanwhile, here Cody and Bailey were, together again even when season 2 ended with them being toxic to each other (especially Cody) and eventually about to get married sometime later in the 2010s).

It was not amicable or mutual the way you usually expect break ups on a Disney show to be. It was more real, and raw. When Maddie threw the basketball after he walked away, I felt that.
When I was younger I was immature about Cody and Bailey's breakup. In retrospect it's mainly Cody's fault even if the idea of the practice date at its heart was still rooted in wanting to be a good boyfriend. Also I realize that had Bailey saw London's face she wouldn't have left and would have probably confronted them learned about the practice date and left. Also while Cody became more of a jerk as the show went on I don't think he was that bad at the end.

I swear, this was the start of the 2010s when a similar toxic boyfriend like Mason Greyback was established, and it shows, because they’ve pretty much became alike by the way they used women (and some young men like Chase & Jean Luc when they would be the new boyfriends of Bailey Pickett and Alex Russo… well, the latter before he decided to have a love rivalry with Mason who LITERALLY DESTROYED THE WIZARD OF THE YEAR THAT WAS SUPPOSED TO BE THE BEST MOMENT OF THE SHOW TURNED INTO THE WORST, LIKE BREAKUP IN PARIS PART 2!!!!!!!!).

Austin & Ally was definitely the saddest, to me anyways. They loved each other so much and it wasn't their choice to break up. They had been through so much to finally be together, and they were both so happy, but then they couldn't be together. They other thing is is that they're basically soulmates. Austin and Ally are partners; through their music and they are best friends. And that's just what made it even sadder! Overall I personally just love them so much as a couple!

The Maya/Zack breakup legit made me angry when it originally happened and, in a way, still does. I actually liked the fact that they had finally given Zack a legit relationship like his brother with Bailey, and then they just tossed it away. Definitely unexpected and, in my opinion, unnecessary. They finally gave Zack some legit and convincing character development that to me was lacking in his character for the longest time. It was almost like they got scared to do it, or at least keep it permanent, which is why I think they got rid of the relationship all together right before the series finale. Like why introduce the relationship in the first place? Makes no sense to me.
The Zaya breakup just made us feel like even the characters themselves were fed up with stupid Disney for making an excuse for them to break up (of course, it’s not because they wanted to, but because they had to. Meanwhile, here Cody and Bailey were, together again even when season 2 ended with them being toxic to each other (especially Cody) and eventually about to get married sometime later in the 2010s).

I’m glad I’m not the only one who pointed out how toxically masculine, immature and violent Mason Greyback and Cody Fartin were towards Alex Russo and Bailey Pickett (and I thought Moose was her worst ex because he made Cody look bad, but Cody’s personality was devastating just by how cruel it was, it even went as far as to make me wish Zack Martin WERE an only child unless they could finally stop making Cody a user of women who deserved to have his foot squished by angry young women way more than Zack, which I’m not gonna lie, coming from a Suite Life fan, these young women annoyed me because they think they were giving Zack & Cody (pre Season 3 of On Deck) karma by feeding their hate on these poor guys)! At least with Raven Baxter & Devon Carter, they made up for the latter leaving her in the prom episode and didn’t have a toxic divorce before Raven’s Home (it was a divorce, but they were still on good terms).

It was not amicable or mutual the way you usually expect break ups on a Disney show to be. It was more real, and raw. When Maddie threw the basketball after he walked away, I felt that.
When I was younger I was immature about Cody and Bailey's breakup. In retrospect it's mainly Cody's fault even if the idea of the practice date at its heart was still rooted in wanting to be a good boyfriend. Also I realize that had Bailey saw London's face she wouldn't have left and would have probably confronted them learned about the practice date and left. Also while Cody became more of a jerk as the show went on I don't think he was that bad at the end.
Juliet and Justin breaking up was also a pretty devastating
