Bioware: "ok Germany is known throughout history to be a densly wooded country with lowlands and mountains. Where should we put our german counterpart then? Ah yes a subtropical arid Sahel-like region. A perfect fit!"
It is indeed a bit weird for me to see on the illustrations lands and architecture inspired by Petra (e.g. Andrastes statue) or other places which could come from similar arid regions. But everyone has german names
