As a Steelers fan, the Steelers are way too high in the tiers. Our defense is amazing and T.J. Watt is making a case for another DPOY. Our offense? Our offense is absolutely in shambles. The Steelers should be in the Big Changes Coming tier because Matt Canada needs to go at this point for the Steelers to be a competitive playoff team.
Could we make the playoffs as constructed? Maybe, but that's only because our defense with T.J. at the helm is elite and Tomlin refuses to have a losing season. We have too many questions on offense for me to declare the Steelers a lock to make the playoffs given the torture I've had to witness every time the Pickett is snapped the football.
But the Steelers have a run game and three good pass catchers. The Oline is inconsistent BUT unless there's an injury, they'll get better and better. Pickett is in a slump right now, but imho can be serviceable.
The only issue to me is the offensive scheming, and that makes the Steelers a mediocre team in my eyes.
Is your def amazing? Steelers def had one good game vs the browns who, quit frankly idk if it was good steelers def or BAD browns off... and I'm leaning on BAD browns off, cuz they looked bad last week also.....
I'm not taking anything away from that game on Monday Both teams off looked like trash, the only diff is the browns actuly drove down the field for a touch downa and some extra points, the steelers off scored ONE td off a 72 yard miscommunication by the browns secondary and a back who fell down...
So I'm tossing that tape, do it vs the raiders and I'll believe it. Untill then. It's just bad browns

Us 49er fans lived with Jimmy G, Alex Smith, Kaepernick, and a whole bunch of forgettable QBs since Jeff Garcia left. Purdy is the most stable and consistent QB play in a long time. We have no doubts and only get more confident with every game.

As you should. Your QB has came back from injury and is playing like a number 1 QB should. I am a Cowboys fan and I admire how good your team is. I am happy for the way my QB and defense is doing this year. We aren't worried about the Eagles. 49ers are the real deal.
I think Nick's just assuming Niners fans want more than losing in the Super Bowl to a superior quarterback, which has proven to be the limit of the system Purdy is in.
I’m too young for remembering Garcia and prior, so Purdy to me is the least-stressful 49ers qb I’ve ever seen. When he’s just hanging out in the pocket a bit long, it’s nice to not be terrified that he’s gonna force something and throw an interception.

Bro said chiefs are 89 49ers? 49ers were running through everyone. Did not have a rough September they didn’t lose until October rams 13-12 both teams were 3-0 at that point. And SF started 10-1. Joe Montana was MVP also Jerry Rice had a crazy 82 catch almost 1500 yard year. Team averaged almost 30 points a game and allowed only 15. They’re playoff wins were 41-13, 30-3, and 55-10 in the Super Bowl. Chiefs are good but they don’t have to personnel to run through the NFL like that. 🤨

I know what Brou’s saying. The tiers should be based on performance through 2 weeks and he thinks (and I agree with him) that the Cowboys deserve the top spot. In other segments, he’s saying he’s not buying that they’re Super Bowl favorites now. The two are separate: Through week 2 performance vs playoff expectations. The two are being overlapped in the tiers with chiefs on top.

Its looking like his floor is higher than jimmys and so is his ceiling. still looked poised and confident and didnt make stupid mistakes that hurt the team. No qb is perfect, so I'm ok with brock missing a couple throws

I seriously doubt that he did, or any analyst for that matter. As a relative rookie, he has grown in confidence and performance every game as a starter. The pass blocking (pass game as a whole) needs better starts but the keep dismissing Ridder

With the Chiefs you have to project. There next 6 games the teams only have 2 wins combined. They will most likely will be 7-1 in 6 weeks and be at the top
You can make a case that they should be 2-0, with a greater potential to go 8-0 than Dallas, because they barely lost to Detroit as well, without Chris Jones and Travis Kelce. They should definitely be at the top tier to an extent, so at this point Nick hypothetically is right, even though Dallas has a plus 60 point differential, which is the best in the NFL right now.

Yeah Cowboys have to show they can beat either (or both) SF / Eagles on the road to be claimed at the top imo (coming from a Cowboys fan) If they lose both those regular season games, same old same old in playoffs up next
Yes, but there still are doubts on if they can get past the first half of the playoffs these days, and unfortunately right now you can rule against them until they actually do it. I expect Philadelphia to beat Dallas in the divisional round, because unlike Dak Prescott, Jalen Hurts has lived up to expectations in the more meaningful games.
