I don't watch Pakistani dramas (except for say a few I watched in the past) but damn Maya Ali looks so pretty, saw her in Aunn Zara which I loved, a light hearted comedy, and also in the film Teefa in Trouble, she dances well, speaks well enough, desrves more success and fame.
Yes, that’s pretty much undeniable, just wish there was a larger emphasis on her acting in this drama. She’s being pretty heavily criticized for it, hopefully she can take the criticism well and improve.
Unintentional comedy lmao you’re stating facts😭 Everyone has issues with KRQ’s writing as they should but what baffles me more is how can Haseeb Hassan, a director who has given us a masterpiece like Alif and diyar e dil would agree to make this shit like I’m genuinely disappointed Coming to the actors, I only have one thing to say that established actors shouldn’t be taking on to such roles it doesn’t do them any good. Ps as much as I’m looking forward to main manto nahi, I’m at the same time sacred shit of KRQ’s writing considering his latest projects are no more than a joke but Sajal’s choice of scripts is commendable so fingers crossed!
That's a good point, I actually haven't seen Alif, but I always hear amazing things about the drama. It is quite bizarre that the direction is so horrendous, despite his previous work. Regarding the writing, after Gentleman this was a real test for KRQ, but he didn't deliver at all. I tried to watch the drama at normal speed for research for this video, and I honestly fell asleep, even at 2x speed it was sluggish. Thanks for your insights!
